Durham Tees Flight Training: EASA PPL Ex 9 (i) Turning PA28 Warrior
Aircraft - PA28 Warrior - G-BCTF
Airport - Durham Tees Valley, UK - EGNV
Training over North Yorkshire, North East England on 19/02/14 with instructor Lewis Peters and filmed on a GoPro Hero 3. This was the first landing for me in low light and the reason I missed my aiming point, which is why we tracked back up the runway...oh well.
My first flying lesson: Trial flight at Eden Flight Training (Durham Tees Valley Airport - EGNV)
This has been my first flight on a single-engine (and propeller) aircraft and it was also my first time to be a pilot student. We took off from Durham Tees Valley Airport - EGNV by using runway 23, immediately turned left heading 060, climbed and maintained 3000 ft until approaching the coast. Then, turned left and flown along the coast before heading back to the airport. Landed on the same runway we had taken off.

Teesside International Airport - 16th September 2019
Teesside International Airport (IATA: MME, ICAO: EGNV), known previously as Durham Tees Valley Airport, is an international airport located just east of Darlington in County Durham, north-east England, just west of Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, north-east England about 10 mi (16 km) south-west of Middlesbrough and 24 mi (39 km) south of Durham. The airport serves the North East and North Yorkshire, and is situated close to the village of Middleton St George in County Durham.
Teesside International Airport is one of the United Kingdom's smaller airports, offering links to two domestic and two European destinations. The airport has a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Public Use Aerodrome Licence (number P518) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers and for flying instruction. Originally a Royal Air Force (RAF) station, the airfield became Teesside International Airport in the 1960s and was renamed Durham Tees Valley Airport in 2004, though it was still commonly known by its previous name. The name 'Teesside Airport' is common on local road signs that were either placed before 2004 or on signs with not much space for the previous airport name. On 25 July 2019, the airport reverted back to its previous name of Teesside International Airport, after a poll indicated 93% of locals preferred the previous name.
The majority shareholder in the airport is the Tees Valley Combined Authority which owns 75%, while the remaining 25% is owned by Stobart Aviation.

DARLINGTON UK | Durham County
Darlington UK
Darlington is a large market town in County Durham, in North East England. With a population of 105,564 in 2011, the town lies on the River Skerne, a tributary of the River Tees. The town is administered as part of the Borough of Darlington. The town owes much of its development to the influence of local Quaker families in the Georgian and Victorian era, and who provided much of the finance and vision in creating the Stockton and Darlington Railway, the world's first steam locomotive powered, permanent passenger railway. The town is often colloquially referred to as 'Darlo'.

Durham Tees Valley Airport Visit - Airline and Airport Management Students
13 students visited Durham Tees Valley airport where they were able to visit the newly renovated terminal and helps dispatch the KLM flight to Amsterdam. Our students were given a rare insight into the working practices within the security team, shown advances in passenger screening and given access to air traffic control where both the airport manager and air traffic control manager took time out of their busy day to spend time with our students.
