But authorities at Pointe Seraphine Duty Free complex say lawmen are merely enforcing the law.

The Carnival Valor made it's first call to port Castries yesterday.
Local officials representing the Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority, Cox and Company and Pointe Seraphine Duty Free Complex went aboard to officially welcome the vessel and its crew.
The Carnival Valor was built in Italy in 2004
The 952 foot vessel has a gross of 110,000 tons and a full guest occupancy of 3,756.

Kenny responds to guy and Chastanet

Opposition Leader Dr. Kenny Anthony says the government has yet to answer all the questions surrounding allegations of a proposed deal to sell the Pointe Seraphine Duty Free Complex. Dr. Anthony is responding to a press conference held by the Ministers of Tourism and Communications and works to clarify reports of a deal with an alleged shady investor.
