AUSTRALIA - A stroll around Leura, Blue Mountains NSW
Leura is a suburb in the City of Blue Mountains area that is located 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of the Sydney central business district in New South Wales, Australia. It is one of the series of small towns stretched along the Main Western railway line and Great Western Highway that bisects the Blue Mountains National Park. Leura is situated adjacent to Katoomba, the largest centre in the upper mountains, and the two towns merge along Leura's western edge.
The original inhabitants of the area were the Dharug people. Archaeological evidence at Lyrebird Dell in South Leura suggests that Aboriginal occupation of the region may date back more than 12,000 years.
The first Europeans to enter the area, in 1813, was the expedition of Gregory Blaxland, William Lawson and William Charles Wentworth. They were followed by the expedition of George Evans in November 1813 and the road-building party of William Cox in the following year.
When the western railway line was constructed across the Blue Mountains in 1867–68, a gatehouse (No 9) was erected where the line crossed the Western Road near the present Sorensen Bridge. The gatekeepers were the first permanent European residents of the area, Another early presence occurred following the discovery of coal in the Jamison Valley below the present Leura golf course in the early 1880s, which led to the establishment of a colliery.
It is a gorgeous little town filled with lovely places to eat and a wonderful place for a weekend getaway!

Australia - The Blue Mountains - Three Sisters & Scenic World
For our last full day in Australia we decided to head somewhere special while on the way to Sydney from Canberra.... The Blue Mountains. We firstly made our way to Katoomba and then to Scenic World, we took the Steepest Railway in the world down to the valley floor and walked the longest elevated Boardwalk in Australia. We then took the Largest Cable car in Australia back to the top and then Australia's highest cable car over to see the Three Sisters. After that we made our way to Wentworth Falls where we got breathtaking views as the sun went down.... My favourite day of the trip? It's a close one.

SCENIC WORLD - Katoomba, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia
A travel video of our day-trip to Scenic World in Katoomba, Blue Mountains, NSW. This is a huge attraction for those visiting Sydney, Australia. The four main highlights include the Skyway Cable Car (takes you to the other side of the valley where there are bush walks and the Katoomba Falls), The Walkway (a walkway through lush rainforest, filled with animatronic dinosaurs on the day that we visited. It is also often filled with scupltures), The Cableway (takes you back up the valley to the main building) and The Railway (the world's steepest railway ride, taking in breathtaking views of The Blue Mountains themselves).

New South Wales - THREE SISTER Blue Mountains + JENOLAN CAVES Australia | CAMBODIAN Family Trip
Sydney + Melbourne 2017 - Episode 3 (Stream at 1080p for BETTER-QUALITY video). Welcome to my new travel video. Today, we are going to visit the famous Three Sisters at the Blue Mountains in New South Wales!!! The journey there from Central Coast was quite a long one but it was totally worth it. Thanks to Uncle Im and his family for organizing the trip. We went there in Winter so it was so cold. Make sure to wear thick clothes if you plan to go between May to September. I personally think fall or winter is the best season to go to because of the cold weather and the scenery is more beautiful. It was truly beautiful. Then we continue to Jenolan Caves which is around 1.5 hours to 2 hours from the Blue Mountains. The road to the caves was pretty scary to drive. You literally drive around the mountain to go to the bottom. There is a hotel and restaurant at the tourist spot. Next time we plan to stay there overnight. It will be worth. Jenolan Caves place i probably the most fascinating tourist spot in Australia that I have ever been. We did do the caves tour. Luckily, we got the last one. Everything about that tour will be in the next vlog. Thank you very much and don't forget to check out other videos. Please like and subscribe. Check out my other series if you haven't yet. Empress Falls | Blue Mountains
A fun hike down into the rainforests of the Blue Mountains to explore the beautiful cascading water of Empress Falls and Lodore Falls.
It was a short hike down from our lodge, taking about an hour to reach the falls and a little bit longer to hike back out. The falls are beautiful and well worth the trip if you are in the area. The cold water of the plunge pool can be a refreshing escape from the summer heat for those looking to swim.
Blue Mountains Holiday Trip 2015 NSW Australia
Hey Everyone!
So I went on a little holiday last weekend to the Blue Mountains to visit a good friend of mine Alex. Throughout my stay we travelled to the Jelolan Caves and did the famous Scenic Walk to see the 'Three Sisters.' We did plenty of other things, but I thought I would show you these two in particular! :D Enjoy xx

Sydney | Is a day trip to the Blue Mountains worth it?
Today we took a day trip out to the Blue Mountains which is about a 2 hour train ride from Sydney.
We started in Katoomba and saw the Three Sisters at Echo Point lookout which is just a short walk from where the buses drop off.
We hiked the Prince Henry Cliff Walk starting from Echo Point via Leura Cascades. From the trail, there are numerous lookout points, each offering stunning views of the valley.
We finished with a delicious and well deserved lunch at the Bakehouse on Wentworth before catching the train from Leura back to Sydney.

Three Sisters, Scenic Railway | Blue Mountains Australia
Hike from the Three Sisters (Echo Point) in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney to the Scenic Railway via the Giant Stairway and Leura Forest. Highly recommended, and even on Easter weekend, it was not busy (probably due to the number of stairs required).
