Surfing in Bali Kuta Indonesia
This is a short clip of me surfing in Bali. It was my first time surfing and I was able to handle myself quite well.
Looking forward to the next time I'll be there!
Bali is a wonderful place to learn where to surf. If you are agile and athletic you should not have any problem surfing. I did not take any class and I am glad I did not. The classes are a bit of a joke and a rip-off. Learn on your own, try different things and watch people surf!

Backpacking Indonesia - Surfing Bali, Ukulele Kuta Beach, Blooming Lotus Meditation Yoga, Ep. 14
While Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam represented one phase of our trip, it was time to move on. We flew from Hoi An through Singapore into Bali and arrived on a hectic Saturday night. We spent a week in Kuta where each day was the same of walking to the beach, renting surfboards, and playing ukulele with some locals we made friends with.
We moved north and stayed at a homestay in Ubud with an Indonesian family and then did a week long retreat with Blooming Lotus in Sukawati. Here, we were immersed in yoga and meditation for a week, one thing that we had been wanting and waiting to do on our trip that fell at a perfect time. Indonesia is one country where we realized there is so many fun things to do and it was apparent that we would be using our entire 30 day visa.
Next, we fly to Labuan Bajo to do a Scuba liveaboard in Komodo National Park.

Bukit Peninsula in Bali is one of the most iconic surf destinations in the world. There are a number of breaks that line the coastline and each has it's own characteristics...one has more barrels, one breaks left and right, and another is the perfect beginner's beach break. Good stuff to know if you've never surfed it. Surf expert Steve Levine of Surfulu took Local Style's Mike Rodger on a boat tour of these breaks and dialed us in, as only a local can.

Bali is Indonesia's main tourist destination, which has seen a significant rise in tourists since the 1980s .It is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.
Apart from that Bali has lot to offer in the adventure prospect and Water Sports is one of the prime attraction,
I was in a trip to Indonesia for 8 days.. and i was in Bali for 4 days... and this 4 days were supper awesome... i spent the rest of the 4 days in the Flores Island of Indonesia and that was even better.
One my first day in Bali, i booked a surfing class at Kuta beach, Bali from #7surfingbali through airbn.com and the instructor YOKO was very generous.
We had 2hours of training season and after that we went to the ocean and lead the waves,,,, It was an awesome experience and u must try this once in life

Bali, with its glut of world class surf spots, is the epicentre of Indonesian surfing. Any surf trip here almost invariably begins on Kuta beach, the original Indonesian beach resort. The waves here offer something for everyone; advanced surfers will revel in fun, peaky conditions.

Not far from Kuta is the Bukit Peninsula where the best waves in Bali can be found. Padang Padang is one of Indonesia's banner spots. It only comes to life on the biggest of swells but when it does you can expect one of the most intense lefthanders in the world. You can also expect serious crowds and lots of aggro in the water.

BALI DAY 4! ???? This vlog started out extra silly from the beginning.... i thnk there was somthing in the water this day ....
...So we WERE heading to to Ferry to Nusa Penida island for some amazing photo ops, but it was rainy AND we showed up too late ... SO.... AUDIBLE DAY!
We walked around Sanur Beach market for a bit and we were really hungry.. but of course I wanted to eat the best food so I looked up the Mark Wiens Bali vlog, and one of the places he went to happened to be open... Pork Satay! At Sate Babi Bawah Pohon.
Then we hit some sunset surfing action on Kuta beach at MySurf / Jacky Bar.

Gorgeous beaches and visa extensions in Kuta Lombok | Indonesia (Ep 10)
Kuta is commonly know as the tourist hub or Bali however there is another Kuta, Kuta Lombok, with crystal clear blue water, white sandy beaches and epic surf. This Kuta is on the island of Lombok and we couldn't wait to arrive and see what this coast had to offer.
It was a bit of a challenge getting here as we had to travel from Gili Trawangan all the way south to Kuta but we were very glad we made the effort. This is a gorgeous part of the world, with a variety of beautiful beaches, plenty of surf and stunning views over the rugged coastline. During our stay in Kuta we also had to extend our visas which turned out to be an adventure all in itself.
There are heaps of beaches around Kuta with Selong Balanak, a perfect beginner surf spot and Mawi, an advanced surf spot being our favorites. The people is this area are super friendly and the food was awesome.
