Tour Of Britain 2015 Earlham Road Norwich
Sunday Session Norwich Returns!
Sunday Sessions will return to Earlham Park, Norwich for a third time on May 24, 2020, headlined by indie-rock legends The Libertines.
Led by iconic frontmen Carl Barât and Peter Doherty, The Libertines burst onto the music scene in the early 2000s and proceeded to change the face of British indie music with their potent mix of charisma, attitude, imagination, unpredictability - and incredible tunes. Signing to Rough Trade on the strength of just one gig, they released their seminal, Mick Jones-produced debut album ‘Up The Bracket’ in 2002, widely considered one of the best albums of the 2000s. Again produced by The Clash legend Mick Jones, the No.1 second album ‘The Libertines’ followed in 2004.

Norwich is a city on the River Wensum in East Anglia and lies about 100 miles north-east of London. Norwich is the regional administrative centre for East Anglia and county town of Norfolk. During the 11th century, Norwich was the largest city in England after London, and one of its most important. Norwich remained the capital of the most populous English county until the Industrial Revolution.
In May 2012, Norwich was designated England's first UNESCO City of Literature. Since 1298 Norwich has returned two members of parliament to the House of Commons. Until 1950 the city was an undivided constituency, returning two MPs. Since that date the area has been divided between two single-member constituencies: Norwich North and Norwich South.
The principal local football club is Norwich City, also known as the Canaries, who play in the second tier of English football, the Championship, after being relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2015–16 season.
Norwich stands north of the A47 (bypassed to the south of the city), which connects it with Great Yarmouth to the east, and Kings Lynn and Peterborough to the west. Norwich railway station lies east of Norwich city centre, and is managed by Abellio Greater Anglia. The bus companies serving Norwich include Anglian Bus, First Norfolk & Suffolk, Konectbus, Sanders and Stagecoach Norfolk. Norwich International Airport is a feeder to KLM's Schiphol hub. FlyBe, Eastern Airways, and Bristow Helicopters all serve Norwich.
