ETF CRT Rebuilding Report 2019
Early Television Foundation President Steve McVoy introduces Nick Williams, who presents a report on the state of the CRT Rebuilding Project. Nick is currently the only person in the Early Television circles who is trained and able to rebuild picture tubes. In the past two years, for a variety of reasons the focus has shifted from the CRT Rebuilding Workshop at the Early Television Museum to a duplicate rebuilding setup Nick is constructing in Maryland. The setup at the museum will remain ready to be put into use if and when someone willing to be trained to rebuild tubes and to manage the project steps forward in the Hilliard, Ohio area.
