WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE HOTEL - EMIRATES PALACE in ABU DHABI - LUXURY TRAVEL Inside TOUR
WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE HOTEL - EMIRATES PALACE in ABU DHABI - LUXURY TRAVEL Inside TOUR
The Emirates Palace is a seven star luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Emirates Palace is located on 1.3 km of private beach and surrounded by 85 hectares of gardens, with 114 domes that are 80 meters high. It is a 30 minute drive from Abu Dhabi airport and 1.5 hours drive from Dubai airport.
The building was designed by architect, John Elliott RIBA, who was Senior Vice President at Wimberly, Allison, Tong and Goo, (WATG) an international firm specialising in Luxury Hotels. It opened in November 2005 but certain restaurants and spas did not open until 2006. The hotel was built by and is owned by the Abu Dhabi government, and is currently managed by the Kempinski Group.
The costs to build the hotel were 3.9 billion GBP or 11.02 billion AED or about 6 billion USD. The Emirates Palace occupies 850,000m² of floor space. Underground parking allows housing for 2,500 vehicles. There are two swimming pools and spas. The hotel has its own marina and helipad. The Emirates Palace is the second most expensive hotel ever built, only surpassed by Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
Room rates at Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace rose by more than a quarter last year as guest numbers topped 150,000. A 26 per cent rise in rates helped revenue per available room -- the standard measure used by hotels -- reach one of its highest levels since it opened in 2005, said the hotel manager Alexander Schneider.
Despite the opening of many other luxury hotels and resorts in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Palace has continued to achieve a very high performance over the past years, said Mr Schneider.
The hotel, meanwhile, hopes to raise its international profile further -- as a backdrop for film productions. Emirates Palace is the only venue in the region qualified to offer a unique backdrop for film shootings and to curate a movie premiere screening in its auditorium at the same time, Mr Schneider added.
Abu Dhabi is expected to add as many as 6,000 new hotel rooms over the next three years according to CBRE Middle East, the property broker.
There is still a lot of supply to come up but that also makes it far more affordable than Dubai and travellers from within the UAE will remain one of its key markets, said Matthew Green, the head of research and consultancy at CBRE. The broker expects hotel occupancy in Abu Dhabi to rise from about 65 per cent in 2012 to about 70 per cent this year.
Emirates Palace is currently focusing on Chinese, Indian and Latin American markets as Etihad Airways funnels more travellers from those countries through the emirate. India is Abu Dhabi's largest tourism market in terms of the number of guests.
Emirates Palace has also become a popular wedding venue for families from India, Russia and China, said Mr Schneider.
The capital's flagship hotel is owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi, and is managed by the Geneva-based Kempinski Hotels.
Abu Dhabi hotel operators are benefiting from rising visitor numbers to the country.
In November, Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) reported Dh842 million in operating revenues, an increase of Dh93m during the first nine months of the year compared with the same period in 2012. forbes rich list London luxury shopping billionaire millionaire Monaco super rich private jet yacht entertainment luxs report us usa America uk London Donald trump Dubai elite executive arab ceo forbes Europe vip money lil wayne travel 5 star hotel super car bugatti Lamborghini Ferrari Porsche private jet 2014 2015 monaco luxury get rich gambling investment Beverly Hills Malibu Miami positive thinking super yacht mega yacht playboy mansion luxury lifestyle mansion emirates palace

The company recorded gross profits of Dh95.7m and net profit of Dh58.8m. ADNH's total assets were Dh9.62 billion. Its hotel division, which includes internationally branded owned hotels and its own Al Diar brand, and the retail unit were the main profit generators. The latest additions to ADNH's portfolio to come on stream this year -- Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach and Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal -- led the charge to top the hotel division's revenues to Dh562m, compared with Dh468m during the same period in 2012.
BEACH IN DUBAI, دبي, JUMEIRAH BEACH DUBAI, BURJ KHALIFA, DUBAI MALL, DUBAI ATTRACTIONS, SHOPPING
BEACH IN DUBAI, دبي, JUMEIRAH BEACH DUBAI, BURJ KHALIFA, DUBAI MALL, THE PALM DUBAI, SHOPPING, Dubai is the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As of 2012, Dubai was the 22nd most expensive city in the world and the most expensive city in the Middle East.[17][18] In 2014, Dubai's hotel rooms were rated as the second most expensive in the world, after Geneva.[19] Dubai was rated as one of the best places to live in the Middle East by U.S. global consulting firm Mercer
Dubai is divided into multiple districts or municipalities:
Jumeirah — A diverse district whose residents are the Europeans to the Filipinos to the Pakistanis; a mixed Little Europe, Karachi and Manila. Jumeirah is much favoured by Europeans due to the ease of access of the beach, Beautiful villas are seen here. Jumeirah Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence's the Walk and Jumeirah Mosque are the top attractions.
Downtown Dubai — While Bur Dubai and Deira are traditionally considered Downtown, the Downtown Dubai development is smack in the center of the New Dubai, between Dubai Marina on the south end and the border with the city of Sharjah to the north. It includes the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world), the Dubai Mall (world's biggest), Dubai Fountain, and lots of other skyscrapers and hotels.
Dubai Marina — is a mega-development that borders Jebel Ali (the world's largest man-made port). It is full of skyscrapers and hosts the Jumeirah Beach Walk with a number of restaurants, hotels an open-air market when the weather permits, and frequent shows. Dubai Marina houses one of the highest concentrations of Westerns in Dubai. There are many hotels surrounding Dubai Marina.
Satwa — One of Dubai's Little India and Little Manila, due to the presence of Filipinos and Indians, a rise in Filipino and Indian restaurants, shops, supermarkets are seen here. Gold and textiles is what people come here for, Gold Souk might be your top destination but Satwa too has gold shops and is hassle free, not so crowded.
Karama — More of like a mixed commercial residential district, one of Dubai's Little Indias and Little Manilas, cheap eats and cheap buys are the top things here.
Bur Dubai — A historical district and Bur Dubai is usual term for the area from Jumeirah to the creek, the creek separates Bur Dubai from Deira. Tourist attractions from abras to souks to floating restaurants to the famous creek are found here.
Deira — Dubai's old Financial centre, today Deira is a bustling commercial-residential district with some old souks, including one specializing in spices.
Arabian Ranches and Emirates Hills — These are two separate places, residential rents here are expensive due to the land value, just like the whole of Dubai, these two are Man-made.
Mirdiff/Mirdif — A commercial-residential district which is somewhat newly built and lies directly under the flight path to Dubai International Airport. Mirdif City Center is one of the attractions. This is another residence for the well-to-do.
International City — Just a simple residential area in the middle of the desert, what's special about it is its architectural design, the residential rents here are cheap and is somewhat the next Chinatown as many Chinese businessmen and women reside here.
Jebel Ali — Once isolated from the main bulk of Dubai back in the 70's, Jebel Ali is now a major residential and industrial hub encompassing the southern portions of the city. The main attraction popular with locals and tourists alike is the easily recognizable Ibn Battuta Mall, styled on the countries visited by the famous explorer. The mall is built adjacent to the Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel that's large archway can be seen from afar. Surrounding the mall is the Gardens apartments, an ethnically diverse district with a strong Indian community. Jebel Ali village, a 35 year old community built on the side of Jebel Ali (Ali Mountain) for the European builders of Jebel Ali Port is still popular with western expats. The coastal side of the Sheihk Zayed Road in Jebel Ali consists of many unattractive power and desalination plants that somewhat ruin the view. The port was the 9th busiest in the world in 2011. The other side of Dubai

Considering travel to the UAE for work or holiday? How is it to vacation in the Middle East?
CLICK BELOW FOR MORE...
Last October, I traveled with my brother for an 8 day vacation to the UAE. It was very special because my bestie had recently relocated there and so I would get to see her. Being black and female, I am always conscientious about were I travel and why. So when I pick vacation destinations, I really do my due diligence based on simply two categories: safety and fun scale. Having that my bestie was in the Emirates already, I had a contact who would be helpful in navigating the area and culture. In typical fashion, I looked up what attractions and sights where available. And as you all know, the UAE thrives of tourism so there is WAY TOO MUCH available for fun and recreation at all levels. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are very very diverse; with people from every corner of the globe. I was so enamored by the heavy Islamic influence and was in such awe at how culturally different it was from the prayer calls you would hear about 5 times a day, to how people dressed, to the incredible food it was a fantastic trip! I planned this trip 3 weeks in advance and we were able to coordinate everything. The total cost for east of us was right around $2200 with flights, hotels, food, and recreation included. It was total funsies.
sea
Flights: Emirates $1200 per person Seattle to Dubai direct 14 hours
Hotels: $400 per person 4 star hotels were really inexpensive, we loved all our Dubai accommodation, but our 5 star in Abu Dhabi was mediocre
Food: eating in hotels is very expensive $25-$50 per person but eating at the mall at restaurants is inexpensive $6-$20 per person
Taxis: $120 per person easiest mode of travel and most used
Recreation: we really had to pin down what we wanted to do since there is so much to do...it was way too hot so I knew that I didn't want to do theme parks, so i'll list below what we did and how much it cost roughly.
-Dubai Aquarium- about $25
-Dubai Marina- free except food and drinks
-Dubai Mall- free except if you want to shop
-Burj Khalifa- $120 per person admission to highest public floor small group, coffee and dates pre-reception, guided tour, and fresh juices and pastries on top floor
-Ski Dubai- about $90 per person depending on what you want to do
-Sheik Zayed Mosque- free and MOST AMAZING
-King's Palace Abu Dhabi free unless you stay for tea
-Gold Souk Diera- free unless you shop spices and garb
-Desert Safari- $40 on group $80 regular ticket and so AMAZING
There were some small miscellaneous expenses but overall we had an awesome time. At the end of the trip, I was very sick with a head cold but thank Goodness it was at the end of the trip. My body could not handle the CRAZY heat and then super cold AC indoors. My favorite parts for sure were the gold souk, the mosque, skiing, and the desert safari. I was even more excited to be able to share this with my brother!

A Day In Fujairah | United Arab Emirates
We had a day in Fujairah on our visit to United Arab Emirates. This was a port of call on our Arabian Odyssey cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) on the Jade. We visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque while we were there, it is the second largest mosque in UAE. You can only visit the property, you can only enter if you are muslim. This emirate is known for it's beaches and the Hajar Mountains. You can use this as a Fujairah travel guide for your next trip to UAE. It is definitely worth the stop.

Beautiful Fujairah(الفجيرة )
Fujairah (Arabic: الفجيرة Al Fuǧaira) is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, and the only one of the seven that has a coastline solely on the Gulf of Oman and none on the Persian Gulf.Fujairah is a modern, industrious city that is the main settlement of the east coast. The emirate is separated from the rest of the United Arab Emirates by the jagged line of the Hajar Mountains. Although the city itself is a grid pattern of high-rise office blocks, much pride and fine restoration work has been put into the few historic monuments - the Al-Bidyah Mosque and Fujairah Fort being two excellent sightseeing highlights of a visit here.
For many tourists and visitors, Fujairah is a laid-back relief after the bustle of Dubai. For Emirati locals, it's a favourite weekend escape. The beautiful coastline is ideal for scuba diving and sunbathing, while the city is a great base for explorations into the Hajar Mountains.
