East Coast Park Info:
The East Coast Park is a beach park encompassing the planning areas of Marine Parade, Bedok and Tampines, along the southeastern coast of Singapore. It was opened in the 1970s when the government completed reclaiming land off the coast at Katong which extends from Changi to Kallang. It serves various seaside communities such as Kallang, Marine Parade and Bedok.
The 185 hectare East Coast Park is the largest park in Singapore and is built entirely on reclaimed land with a man-made beach, where swimming is possible. The beach is protected by breakwaters.
The park has barbecue pits, chalets, food centres and amenities for various sports activities. Visitors can fish at Bedok Jetty (Area F). A cycling and inline skating track run along the perimeter of the park, which measures over 15 km long. It is connected to Changi Beach Park by the Coastal Park Connector Network, a 12 km park connector running along Tanah Merah Coast Road.

Marine Cove, East Coast Park - Playground and Cafes
Thinking about what to do this weekend? Head down to Marine Cove at East Coast Park (nearest carpark is C2). It has five family-friendly F&B outlets including Babalicious, Hill Street Coffee Shop, McDonald's (with its first dessert bar), My Briyani House and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® - Singapore.
The very very large children’s playground is equipped with a range of play equipment suitable for children of different ages. There is a three-storey play tower, which comes with three slides of different levels and a long rope bridge, for children between 5 and 12 years old. For children aged 2 to 5, there is a play area that comes with gradual slopes, mini slides, talking tubes, fun mirrors and a drum set.
The playground also has inclusive play equipment for children of different abilities to play together. This includes special needs equipment such as sensory play panels.
Young children will be spoilt for choice at this playground, and guaranteed energy-draining! Be sure to let your kids wear covered sports shoes and no-skirts/dresses for your girls.

This week, the TSL Crew thought to do some impromptu camping at ECP (East Coast Park). Got ourselves a permit, gathered our equipments and rallied out. None of us have ever been proper camping before, so this was a whole new exciting experience. Oh, and we almost burned down the park. :x

Siglap Park Connector | East Coast Park Singapore | POV GoPro Raw | FHD
This is the Siglap Park Connector taking the people around Kembangan / Eunos areas to East Coast Park.
I like this area as its more the typical suburban area. I can see more of the sky with a lot lesser tall buildings.
Its always a chill ride on PCNs. Apart from there's a 25 kph speed limit for everyone's safely, why hurry anyway?

Singapore session 1
My first time abroad and, while my wife rested, I snuck out for a fish. I got around using a Grab scooter and headed to East Coast Park. As is often the case in a new place, fishing was tough, but it was fun to get out on my own and explore. I went a little off course and got a little wet, but it got me keen for another session.
