China, Singapore to advance economic integration in East Asia
Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Beijing on Monday. China and Singapore reached the consensus that two sides will further advance the integration of East Asian economies and promote the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. The two sides will make joint efforts to align the Belt and Road Initiative with the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025.

I'm going to be super real here, this video is basically the result of binge watching BestDressed and WordWeed videos lmfaooo
Ashley's (aka BestDressed) videos are my guilty pleasure, and I'm always so fascinated about how she manages to find so many cute clothes through thrift shopping?
From there I found Brenda's (aka WordWeed) channel and I was so excited over seeing a Singaporean thrift shopping in Singapore!!
I watched a video of hers and then saw that there were so many options for Thrift Shopping in Singapore!!! I was so EXCITED I basically followed her recommendation (well, only one.. I bought too much anyway) and went thrift shopping on my own.
I'm still new to the entire thing but I had a ton of fun and will definitely be going again. PLEASE DONT HATE ON MY STAINED CLOTHINGS LOL I WATCHED THEM ALL BEFORE WEARING THEM OKAY.

With the fusion of old and new folk songs, oriental and western instruments, Singapore Teng Ensemble has evoked the nostalgic of lullabies and folk songs. The performance revived those Chinese lullabies has been forgotten namely like Ma Ma Hao, Ni Wa Wa, San Lun Che and they merged it with Malay Folk songs like Burung Kakak Tua and Ikan Kekek. Lastly, the Reminiscence of both British song Lavender Blue merging with hokkien folksongs Wang Chun Feng has evoked the excitement of the audience！

Singapore Artist Fan Shao Hua - Where East meets West 新加坡艺术家范少华，东西交汇相融，抽象与写实并进
Singapore Artist Fan Shao Hua was born in 1963 in Guangzhou, China. He graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts with a BA in Fine Arts. Mr Fan started his Chinese ink painting from the age of 10.
Besides being the prestigious winner of 'Painting of the Year Award' at the 19th UOB Painting of the Year Competition in 2000 and International Premium Oil Painting Artist Award in Hong Kong, Mr Fan has through the years won numerous art awards and held many exhibitions overseas - Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Paris.
Mr Fan is also the member of Singapore Art Society, Society of Chinese Artists and Japan Modern Arts Association, and been featured in a number of publications such as Mondial Collections Art in Asia, Straits Times Singapore, American International Artist Magazines and Channel News Asia.
As an artist, Mr Fan is constantly experimenting and evolving. He fuses realism with his creative ideas and representational art in his artistic expressions. He exploits generously both the Chinese technique of 'ink splash' and 'creased paper background', and the Western tradition of representational art techniques in many of his compositions. His artworks is where East meets West and this style is constantly brought up by a level in his paintings as he applies it in various ways and to different subjects. These can be seen most evidently in The Lotus, The Nude, The Landscape and The Abstract series of paintings. Fan continues to push the boundary of blending Chinese and Western techniques in his art and one can only wait in great anticipation for his future creations.
Fan gets his inspiration from his readings on Buddhism and Taoism, and his interaction with nature. He believes strongly in the harmonious interactions between man and the unadulterated environment. He devotes considerable time to visiting the Chinese countryside and famous mountains like Taishan, Lushan and Huangshan in order to feel connected with nature and to gain inspiration for his works.
