Desert Adventures in Egypt
Egypt covers 1,019,600 km2 of the northeastern corner of Africa and the Sinai Peninsula, the land bridge connecting the continents of Africa and Asia. It forms part of the Sahara, which stretches 5,000 km from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea and is about 2,000-km inland from the Mediterranean coast. The Nile runs though the desert landmass, covering only 4% of the country on its 1,800-km course. Downstream the river is divided into two main tributaries forming the triangular shape of the Nile Delta, whereas the river has been restricted in the South, forming Lake Nasser, 496 km in length.

In this movie, you can see some action in Quad Safari, trip that we bought from the travel agency
SHAHIN TOURS from Hurghada. Also, at the end is a professional slide photo with the beauty of the Sahara Desert.
For the beggining, we went with the jeeps 4x4 to the atv location and from there we drove with speed in Sahara desert with atv cars. Then we stop to a bedouin village, where we could see how to stick pita, bedouin's clothing, children's occupation, and also ride camels .
With us was a organizer guide who explained us all about bedouins life.
After tasting a tea, we climbed a large dune of sand, where was a belvedere point on the bedouin village and we made a movie and pictures.
All the journey cost to the agency 30 € /person, including dinner.
The movie was made with Go Pro Hero black 7, wide and timelapse mode, in winter.

This video was taken by the crew of Expedition 31 on board the International Space Station. The sequence of shots was taken from May 19, 2012 from 10:44:20 to 10:54:57 GMT, on a pass from western Egypt to east of Tanzania. This video begins looking back downtrack towards the Soyuz and the Sahara Desert, with the Mediterranean Sea in the far back. As the ISS continues southeast over northern Africa, the clear line between the dry Sahara sands and the more tropical region of central Africa stands out. The video ends over the Indian Ocean.
We Tried Egypt Street Food | Must Eat Local Dishes in Cairo
Trying Egyptian Food in Cairo - it's our second day here in Cairo, Egypt and we thought we would head on out to try some of the local Egyptian and Middle Eastern Food.
To get our pallet ready we tried Ma'An Sulta (Salad water), before getting some prickly fruit from a street food cart. We then headed to Felfela, a famous restaurant here in Cairo to have some Turkish coffee, Shorbet 'ads (lentil soup), baba ganoush (eggplant dip), ful, besara and Betinjan Maqli.
On the way to our next restaurant we tried arabic coffee for the first time, hibiscus juice as well as some white Egyptian Sobia drink before trying some home cooked Bamya.
Before we tried the most famus Egyptian dish, we had some Baskote Yansoon as we made our way towards the end of downtown to try Koshari...I am not sure how we had space for desert but managed to squeeze in Konafa, Basbousa and more...we are officially full!
