Boulevard East View Of New York City
Boulevard East is a two-way, mostly two lane, scenic thoroughfare in the North Hudson, New Jersey municipalities of Weehawken, West New York, Guttenberg and North Bergen. Apart from small sections at either end, the road runs along the crest of the Hudson Palisades, affording it views of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline.

The Hammond House is located on Grasslands Road (New York State Route 100C) in the Eastview section of the town of Mount Pleasant, New York, United States. It is a wooden building whose oldest part dates to the 1720s, with latter additions during the 19th century. In 1980 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
It is one of the oldest houses in Westchester County, and one of only two remaining tenant houses from the Philipsburg Manor. It also has a rich Revolutionary War history. Col. James Hammond, son of the original owner, commanded the Patriot Westchester Militia. Some historical evidence supports a legend that George Washington visited the house for a brief conference with Hammond in 1780, leaving just before the house was surrounded by Loyalists.
During the war the Hammond family bought the land; they held on to it until the 1920s, when New York City acquired the property to protect its watershed. It was planning to demolish the structure, when the county historical society bought the deteriorating house and restored it for use as a historic house museum. It remained open in that capacity for another half-century. When the society shifted its focus to primarily serving as an archive, it sold it to New York Medical College, which used as a medical research laboratory for a decade. It was again saved from potential demolition by two brothers who bought it in the 1990s. They have been restoring it and using it as a venue for small folk music concerts.

National Toy & World Video Game Hall of Fame - The Strong: National Museum of Play - NY
We absolutely loved The Strong: National Museum of Play! This museum was packed with fun for all ages. From the carousel to the many play areas, to the upstairs National Toy Hall of Fame and World Video Game Hall of Fame - this place had something for everyone. Each exhibit was super clean, well organized and very interactive. I loved the literacy focus with books available in every room to read or choose to check out. We will absolutely return here any other time we are nearby to play more!

This elevator seems to be custom made, the panel is ridiculously small, and the indicator is also very large. Even the lantern has a circular speaker hole instead of the cross pattern. But the main thing is get a load of that motor.

As educators scrambled Tuesday to wrap up plans for the opening of school Thursday, questions about how the new dance policy would be handled hung in the air.
Last Friday, several students were asked to leave a school-sponsored dance for breaking a policy that prohibits couples from dancing back-to-front, or grinding. That move prompted a large number of students to leave the dance and begin dancing in the parking lot in protest.
