This beach is in Dawei and taking a time from Dawei city for 20 mins by motorcycle. One of near beaches from Dawei city. It is easy going, but this beach is almost local beach, so the foreigners are not many and almost Myanmar people. I recommend you to go to there from Nov to April, in dry season and summer season. Dawei in rainy season has raining hard.

from Dawei town to San lann village only by motorcycle or car.There are some local restaurants which they serve dried fish, kind of sashimi with beer, Fantastic taste.No hotel No GH!

Actually it was scared journey. we went Dawei for Telecom Tower RF Drive test. we start our journey from Yangon at 2:00 pm after lunch and reach in Dawei at 7:00 AM next day. And then from bus-terminal hire a pick-up to reach destination. But we lost our road in Dawei hill area. Local Driver also lost the road direction. GPS position we get was not working at all. At we did our work and back in Bus-terminal to go Myeik.
Dawei Travel Video
Dawei is a town in the southern part of Myanmar. A beautiful town with a lot of heritage buildings beyond the mountains and the beach. Maungmagan Beach is a nearby beach which is 30mins drive from Dawei.
I didn't have much time to travel around and shoot videos. I went there for a job trip. So that I took several clips within a tight travel time.
