Shizuka Gozen - Traditional Japanese Dance

In the late 12th Century, Shizuka Gozen was a shirabyoshi - a court dancer - coerced into dancing at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. She had the misfortune of loving a samurai hero Minamoto no Yoshitsune who fell out with his brother Yoritomo, the clan chieftain and later Shogun.

Yoshitsune was declared an outlaw and fled with Shizuka but the difficulty of the journey caused them to part ways. Shizuka was captured by Yoritomo's men and taken to Kamakura where she had to dance before the shrine.

In April the dance is recreated as part of the Kamakura Matsuri.

Hiroshi went to Amakashi-hill park to take pictures of wild birds in his spare time, but he couldn't come across the aimed photogenic objects. However, he walked on a great place where people can look the sites of the origin of Japanese literal-based history at a glance that is worth to show.

In January the New Year I went to Tokyo. It has been ten years since I last went to Tokyo, but many things still haven't changed! This new year trip I am going to bring you to explore the different faces of Tokyo, the third episode I will continue with my story in Shibuya, and then I will bring you all to Asakusa. We will see the famous tourist attraction Kaminari mon, and try several delicious food there. Later we will go to sky tree to look at the beautiful view of Tokyo and shop in the mall! Sairenji(西蓮寺) is a Japanese buddhist temple in Hiroshima Prefecture.
A bell of the temple stands in the beautiful ground of the Sairenji temple.
It is a traditional wooden Japanese temple.

Shizuka no mae dance

At the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, Kamakura. The shizuka no mai dance is performed on the ritual dance stage. It reproduces the scene of a master dancer named Princess Shizuka performing a dance before her enemies and expressing her love for the warlord Minamoto-no-Yoshitsune (1159-1189?). Shizuka is a well-known tragic heroine in Japan. Although she was Yoshitsune's beloved, she was forced to abandon him and was taken captive by the warlord Minamoto-no-Yoritomo (1147 - 1199) who was Yoshitsune's enemy. In spite of her plight, Shizuka's dance overflowed with her love for Yoshitsune. This invited the enemy's anger. Shizuka was imprisoned and her children were killed.

Noragami

Noragami (ノラガミ, lit. Stray God) is a fantasy manga series by Adachitoka that began serialization in Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Magazine in January 2011's issue. It has been collected in ten tankōbon volumes as of February 2014. An anime television series adaptation by Bones aired in Japan between January 5 and March 23, 2014.
