After all day in the cold Hokkaido weather hunting for great photos of the world famous TANCHO dancing JAPANESE Red-crowned CRANE it is a true blessing to come back to my warm cute room and super delicious dining and soothing HOT SPRING of HOTEL TAITO that is also luckily located just 10 minutes on foot from the BEST place to photograph the Cranes, TSURUI ITO TANCHO SANCTUARY!!! And the hotel owner Mr. Wada is himself a famous photographer of these birds and entire fauna of this area, he can help you understand how to photograph them and is even hired by TV stations and teams coming to Kushiro for an amazing experience! Just beware the hotel sells out sometimes even a year in advance, so book it early!
Hokkaido Travel – Otaru: A rickshaw ride through a snowy streetscape enveloped in nostalgia
A rickshaw is a great way to enjoy the nostalgic streetscape in Otaru because you can tour popular tourist spots efficiently and also enjoy conversing with the man pulling the rickshaw. The winter landscape in Otaru as seen from a rickshaw is incredibly romantic and makes you forget the coldness of winter.

Love food? Love Japanese food? Come have a look at the feast prepared for me tonight! Sashimi (raw fish), rice, soup, so many dishes! I don't know about you, but I would never cook a meal like this...I hate cleaning the dishes!
Btw, personally I would eat this without too many problems :) however, I do have issues with food that still has the eyes attached... I might need help with that prawn...
Spiffy Places to See in Japan: Aizu Fukushima Part 1
My Trip In March to Aizu of Fukushima Prefecture.
Myself and Coworker Joel decided to road trip it north for a weekend of Onsen and Sightseeing. In this video we visit the Okawa Onsen Resort, Ouchijuku (old trading post town) and Aizu Castle.
To get to Aizu the best way is to rent a car but you need a international or Japanese license to do it. Car rentals are cheap, usually ranging from 70-100$ a day including gas and Freeway tolls. We personally like to use NicoNico Rent a car.
Fukishima is in dire need of tourism money since the 2011 earthquake so I encourage everyone to go, we had a great time, helped support the local community and enjoyed the sights and nature of the area. We at no time felt unsafe and didnt sweat the radiation issue. We didnt want that to stop us from having a good time and doing what we can to help stimulate the local economy.

Sunday April 16, 2017! Easter is not really celebrated in Japan so it was basically just a normal day. BUT it was a beautiful day and Adam and I tried the magikarp taiyaki near Yokohama Station!

Yomiuriland Winter Illumination!
Saturday January 21, 2016! This illumination is amazing! There are so many colorful lights throughout the whole park. I definitely recommend checking this place out! It's a theme park for all ages!

8 May 2016: Biking at Seaside Park on Sunday morning and took Shinkansen to Yamaguchi in the afternoon, took the bus to visit Rurikoji Pagoda.
