I arrived at the infamous BAMBOO FOREST in romantic Arashiyama a little late in the afternoon and it was already full of people so I chose this Jinriksha ride to brighten up and have fun!!! Best thing ever!! My driver took some surprisingly nice pix and helped with the video!! Definitely try it, they have such in Tokyo and Kamakura and other places in Japan! I had the short course and costed under $28 USD!

This is a shopping street near tsurugaoka-hachimangoo shinto shrine, named Komachi-dori. There are various shops including kimono shop, baked rice cracker shop, and cough candy shop. And you can take a rickshaw at this street. See the URL below.

Brother Sister Adventure in Japan Day 5 Part 2
The adventure continues as we head to Asakusa to embark on our Rickshaw tour with our wonderful guide Daisuke. For 30 minutes, Daisuke carried us in an old fashion Rickshaw through the downtown area of Asakusa, Tokyo's oldest historic district. We headed to the old Geisha town too and learned how a Geisha day is compiled and why she wears her white mask. It was truly a great time. Below is the website who's tour we went on, I highly recommend asking for Daisuke as he is very knowledge and funny.

The tradition still remains in some traditional cities like Asakusa or Kyoto.

Making my own sushi! Exploring Manazuru - Kanagawa Prefecture!????
I was lucky enough to be invited on a one-night-stay in a traditional Ryokan in Manazuru, Kanagawa Prefecture! We made our own sushi, tried a family recipe croquette, went up the mountain to see The Three Rocks and I sleep on a Futon for the first time! Our traditional Japanese dinner was also so delish! Make sure to watch to the end to see the blue fluroscent plankton making an entrance in the waves!
