TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE OF 13th NOVEMBER 2012 - CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA
The total solar eclipse was viewed from Palm cove near Cairns Australia. Before this event the video also includes a trip on the narrow gauge Kuranda Scenic Railway through the rain forest to Kuranda Village. The attractions there include the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, Koala Gardens, Birdworld and Skyrail cable car. Also featured is a hydrofoil trip to Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef including a glass bottom boat ride and the feeding of crocodiles.

1774 and 1751 departing Kuranda
1774 leads 1751 on their train out of Kuranda bound for cairns. I had a blooper in this one, when the camera turns to follow the locomotives i had it set too close to the No Entry Beyond thes Point sign and it got stuck against it. Oh well, I hope it came out alright. Taken on the 11/6/2011.

In the distance, you can see two train locomotives like the ones used by The Sunlander. They are painted light blue and other colours. The art-deco style coaches are passing through a train crossing near Cairns Central Station heading towards Kuranda.
