We went on a local Adventure out to the notorious house in Sooke for it's crazy atmosphere and gigantic unoccupied building in the middle of nowhere.

The Sooke Pot Holes
This area is a regional park where locals go to play and relax in the summer sun. The water is, shall we say cool, so winter visits are just for the scenery. Caution is urged while using this area. Looking for some summer fun?
Sooke Sail Past 2010
Sooke put on its 3rd annual Sooke Sail Past this past November 28th in front of Ed MacGregor Park and the Rotary Pier.
The lights were lit from the top of the park all the way along the path through the woods to the boardwalk. 8 boats, all lit differently with Christmas lights slowly sailed past all the on-lookers.
This was a perfect way to end the Santa Clause parade that took place earlier in the day.
Free hot chocolate and music was provided.

Sooke Potholes - Sooke, British Columbia
Sooke Potholes Provincial Park, or the Sooke Potholes, is located on the banks of the spectacular Sooke River and features potholes unlike anything youve ever witness before.
Our potholes are rare geological formations: a series of deep, smooth rock pools in the Sooke River. Accessible from Sooke River Road, this local hotspot features some of the best freshwater swimming around and is a great mid-day picnic spot. The pools and potholes are crystal clear, and refreshingly clean.
The park is also easily accessed from the Regional Galloping Goose Trail. In fact, the last 20 kilometers of the Goose weaves through Sooke Potholes Regional Park, ending at Leechtown.
