Helen Evans: Eden emporium

Helen Evans started her handmade jewellery and coordinating accessories business 'Blod' when she spotted a gap in the market for handmade, quality accessories.

Helen runs her shop 'Eden Emporium' with two other girls situated on the main high street in Holyhead.

Helen started her business after seeking business advice once her daughter started full time school. She found that the support she received was welcoming and friendly. She also had a mentor. She recalls 'You go through like you say all your costings...things like that... your competitors... anything that basically you don't really sort of think about when you're initially setting up in business.'
