Title: Attractions at Eden Nature Park & Resort- Davao Hotel Reviews
We are here at beautiful Eden Nature Park and Resort. As you can see in my background it says 'I love Eden' or 'I heart Eden'. I truly agree to that statement, I really love this place. I've been here 10 or so times and I'm still in awe every time I come here.
One of the free amenities of the resort would be the mountain trail which we tried to follow, I think a fourth of the way yesterday. And this part is actually also a free area for guests. You can take photos here and there's a sort of gazebo good for weddings in the background, I don’t know if you can see it.
The Fishing Village and swimming pool are free for overnight guests. Entrance is free. We went to the swimming pool earlier and we had a lot of fun even though. We only stayed for probably half an hour.
The Fishing Village is actually a fun part of the resort as well. You can fish tilapia, cream dory and catfish but one of the staff members also told me that they have milkfish or bangus sometimes. You can have your catch cooked in their kitchen and served around the fishing area as well or in your room.
Another free part of the resort would be the playground. We had Indiana Jones, that's the free ride. And there is a sort of old-fashioned playground where they have swings and slides and climbing areas. It's among the pine trees so it's a shaded area. It's very enjoyable for kids.
Guests at Eden Nature Park who are not staying overnight can avail of a guided shuttle tour. Actually it's still available for overnight guests. If you want to avail of the guided shuttle tour you can just book it at the Day Tour Center.
The guided shuttle tour lasts for 45 minutes and it has three stopovers. The first stopover would be the flower garden. It's a huge manicured garden with different types of flowers. There are fields of flowers there. It's very pretty and colorful
On that part as well is the sunken amphitheater which is a great venue for weddings. There's also the rainbow pass right beside the amphitheater. It's a good place to take photos, especially if you are looking at pre-nuptial or engagement shoots. It's a very conducive place because it's romantic.
The second stop for the guided shuttle tour would be the Tinubdan. Tinubdan means origin or well-spring. It's a cultural village where you can find sculptures of the Bagobo tribe depicting scenes of the Bagobo tribe of Davao.
Close to that would be a nipa hut. The nipa hut is actually the traditional Filipino dwelling and you can see the regular fixtures inside it, like a ladder going up to the attic side where the bedroom is supposed to be and then just seats and where they can cook their food. It's a very simple house made of bamboo, on stilts
The next stop is Lola's Garden. 'Lola' is Filipino for grandmother. The garden is called that way because all the plants in that garden are actually a grandmother's favorite. In Lola's Garden is one of the most iconic parts of Eden Nature Park which is Mayumi's Wishing Well.
The water of the wishing well is covered with gumamela flowers of different colors. It's actually the perfect place for a selfie if you're into that kind of trend that young ones like us do every time we go to beautiful places like this.
Lola's Garden also has a concrete carabao or water buffalo which would not really complain no matter how many times you climb or ride on it.
There is also a herb garden right below Lola's Garden where the restaurant gets the herbs for their recipes. You can see a very nice view of Davao City in Lola's Garden.
So that's pretty much it for the guided shuttle tour. I'll you guys next time on my next review

Title: Guided Shuttle Tour at Eden Nature Park & Resort - Davao Hotel Reviews
We're just waiting for the day tour to start. We are going with a few other guests of the resort for the day. We're going to have 3 stops I believe. I've done this day tour before but I hope there's something new in store for everybody. It's just going to be me and my sister. She's going to take the still photos and I'll be doing the vlogging. Here it goes!
The guided shuttle tour is actually good if you want to explore without having to walk. The property is really large and if you want to explore on your own, you have to walk.
The guided tour gives you the chance to look at the main parts of the resort as well as pass by the mangosteen orchard and the other villas and accommodations within the resort. You can also pass by parts of the mountain trail which the tour guide will point out to you.
Just make sure that you bring your camera and probably a monopod so you can take videos of yourself. Or just take pictures of yourself. But you can always ask the tour guide to snap a photo of you. Especially in the flower garden.
First stopover for the day tour is the flower garden and there are a lot of flowers as expected. And then there is the ampitheater right behind me. Like what the tour guide said, this is where they hold garden weddings. It's a pretty gorgeous sight.
And if you can see in the background, there's Davao City. This is, I think, my 10th time in Eden but I'm still in awe of the place. Here take a look. There's the sunken ampitheater which is a great venue for weddings. There's also the rainbow pass right beside the amphitheater. That part is the huge garden, a manicured garden with diffferent types of flowers. There are fields of flowers there. It's very pretty and colorful
Second stop for the guided shuttle tour would be the Tinubdan. Tinubdan means origin or well spring. It's a cultural village where you can find sculptures depicting scenes of the Bagobo tribe of Davao. Then close to that would be a nipa hut, the traditional Filipino dwelling.
Last stopover for the day tour is Lola's Garden. It's called Lola's Garden or grandmother's garden because there are a lot of gummamelas here. Or hibiscus plants, if I'm not mistaken, which are a grandmother's favorite plants. In my background would be Philippine bamboos. They're very big and scary-looking. Let's take a look around.
Lola's Garden also has a concrete carabao or water buffalo which would not really complain no matter how many time you climb on it and ride on it. Although it wouldn't move.
In Lola's Garden is one of the most iconic parts of Eden Nature Park which is Mayumi's Wishing Well. The water of the wishing well is covered with gummamela flowers of different colors. It's gorgeous isn't it? Inside the well are gummamela flowers or hibiscus. This is actually the perfect spot for a selfie. So let me take a selfie.
There's also a herb garden right below Lola's Garden where the restaurant gets the herbs for their recipes.
Day tour is about to end, I think it's been 45 minutes as promised. We're on our way back to the shuttle. Catch you guys in a bit!

Title: Arriving at Eden Nature Park & Resort - Davao Hotel Reviews
Good morning! We're on our way to Eden Nature Park in Eden Bayabas, Toril, Davao City. Were going to spend two nights there and we're so pumped up!
- Are you excited, Adie?
- Yeah
- Say 'Hi!
- Hi!
- See you in a bit, we're going to have breakfast first at Jollibee.
Good morning! We're here at Eden Nature Park and Resort, specifically in the Gardenia area where we are staying. In my background would be Gardenias 9 and 10, what I would say would be the creepiest part or accommodations within the resort, although, it would compete with Campsite 3 where we camped out a few years back, probably around 5 or 7 years ago.
Eden Nature Park is located in the foothills of Mount Apo. Mt. Apo National Park is actually just nearby and we are in Eden Bayabas Toril, that is going south from Davao City.
I'm heading to their front office. So it looks like they're allowing us to check in early, that's, I think I don't have my watch, 11:30 in the morning instead of 2PM. So we are about to load our stuff into their shuttle since we are not allowed to park in front of the room. So there's the shuttle.
So we are here at our cabin. Eden Nature Park is known to everyone in Davao as one of the premier resorts. It is a destination for nature lovers. As you can see in my background and all around me are trees: pine trees, durian trees. I'm a nature girl but I don't really know the names of the trees. So you cannot trust me on that.
It's a place where you can commune with nature and just get away from the city for probably a day, if you time, a night or a couple of nights. We're staying here for two nights and we're leaving tomorrow morning or afternoon.
Going to Eden Nature Park, you can commute. You can just ride a jeepney from downtown Davao to Toril and then stop at the corner or junction from the main road to Eden Bayabas. The landmark would be a Mercury Drug store or grocery. Then from there you can just ride a single motorcycle
You can also come here via car. Of course if you are bringing your own vehicle, you'll have to gas up. And the booking office of Eden Nature Park in Matina Town Square can actually book a taxi.
Let's talk about resort amenities. One of the most popular amenities here would be the Vista Restaurant. It's very popular, actually we just had lunch there and there were more than a hundred people dining. It's because it serves some of the freshest food in the city. I am going to post a separate review for the restaurant and the food so watch out for that.

Sky Adventure at EDEN Nature Park and Mountain Resort in DAVAO CITY, Philippines
A mountain resort located at 3,000 feet above sea level, Eden Nature Park is 95% human-made! It is a great model of how humans can recreate nature and rebuild a lost environment.
Discovered sometime in 1971, the resort used to be a logged-over area covered only by a blanket of wild grass. Its potential was, however, readily seen by the owners as the property provided an imposing view of Davao City and the Davao Gulf.
For those eager to get a glimpse and a quick orientation of the Park’s 40-hectare attractions and amenities, take the 45-minute guided shuttle tour. Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Amphitheater is reminiscent of the ancient Roman civilization. Masses, wedding ceremonies and small concerts have been held at the center of the amphitheater. The site presents another excellent view of Davao City and its gulf.
Plaza Maria
Dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, the Plaza Maria is the garden home of the Virgin Mary, especially made to occupy a very special place in the park.
Jogging Lane
Go for a brisk, stimulating and revitalizing exercise as you breath the energizing air filled with the whiff of pine trees.
Hiking Trails
Experience nature as you ramble through the friendly ravine walks and boulder paths. Listen to the chirping of the birds and the rustling of the leaves as the site of nature’s richness energize you while you jog or walk through the trails.
