Edge Of The World:
One of the most popular desert treks from Riyadh is the Edge of the World along the Tuwaiq Escarpment.
The location is about 90km outside of Riyadh and it takes about one and half hours to reach. The Edge of the World should not be attempted to reach by other than a 4×4 vehicle as the last length of the trip is very rocky and there’s loose gravel and some soft sand.

Its about 100 KM from Riyadh, the last 30 km off-road drive If u love adventures and hiking, Edge of the world in Riyadh is a must to see. 2 hours drive from Riyadh city proper, with bumpy roads going to the place, and expect some areas without signal.

located in the North-east part of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is technically being compared to grand canyon because of it's magnificent rock formation same like the Grand Canyon in Arizona, hence, The Edge of the World in Riyadh is still a hidden gem and an undiscovered beauty. enjoyed the dessert down the place, camels and sheep's too. No restroom in the place. Bring tissues, wet tissues, or simply water if you want to wash.

Road Tour To Edge Of The World Riyadh Saudi Arabia

It is about 180 km North-East of Riyadh. Edge of the World is located up straight from the Acacia Valley. This place is also called the rock framed window because from the cliffs you can see a dramatic view of the plains below.

Rodd drives a friend's 4 wheel drive from the Sadus dam to the Edge of the World, which is on top of the Tuwaiq escarpment located northwest of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Hello beshiewaps. I want to share with you guys One of the most popular desert treks here in Riyadh. The Stunning view experiencing the nature of Saudi Arabia that can define satisfaction upon reaching the place you never wanted ❤️

You must have & cautions:

-Wear good hiking shoes.
- Comfortable clothe: for Ladies, Abaya is not required once you reach, as its away from the religious police sight.
-Don't forget Sun cream “sa init nananapak besh”.
-Don't go alone.
-Drink enough Water “ promise nakakatuyo”
-PRAY ????

We don’t advise or encourage you guys to drive in the dark ( like us) keep in mind that the whole site is in natural state.

Definitely worth a visit and a perfect day trip because of the spectacular scenery and an unforgettable experience. One of my bucketlist-checked✔️ This is the best time to go there coz its winter season.

Diriyah Riyadh Saudi Arabia

Diriyah (الدرعية‎‎), is a town in Saudi Arabia located on the north-western outskirts of the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Diriyah was the original home of the Saudi royal family, and served as the capital of the Emirate of Diriyah under the first Saudi dynasty from 1744 to 1818. Today, the town is the seat of the Diriyah Governorate, which also includes the villages of Uyayna, Jubayla, and Al-Ammariyyah, among others, and is part of Ar Riyad Province.

The Turaif district, the first capital of Saudis,in Diriyah was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.

The ruins of the old city of Diriyah lay on either side of the narrow valley known as Wadi Hanifa, which continues southwards through Riyadh and beyond.

Consisting almost entirely of mud-brick structures, the ruins are divided into three districts, Ghussaibah, Al-Mulaybeed, and Turaif, set on top of hills overlooking the valley. Of the three, Turaif is the highest, and its bottom is easily accessible to tourists by foot. Part of the city wall, running along the edges of the wadi and also made of mud-bricks, are still extant along with some short observation towers.

Among the rebuilt structures are the Bath and guest house, the Qasr Nasr, the Saad bin Saud Palace (finished by the early 90s), the Burj Faysal (a wall tower renovated in the 80s), major sections of the wall surrounding Turaif and sections of the outer walls and some watch towers surrounding the wadi.
