The World of Alexis Preller is a Hancock Films Production commissioned by the SABC Johannesburg, begun in 1973, completed in 1974, extended in 1976, first screened publicly in 1977, in collaboration with Edgar Bold, Esmé Berman and the Art Institute South Africa, portraying one of South Africa's remarkable painters, Alexis PRELLER (1911-1975).
The World of Alexis Preller is part of the SABC Johannesburg TV Series Men of Merit (©) from the 1970s.
