Ground Shaking F-35 Departures at Eglin AFB!
I was so lucky to stay in Sandestin on my vacation to Florida - only 30 minutes from Eglin AFB. The base offers some distant views of the end of runway 12.
Unfortunately the security is very tight as it is a US Air Force Base. This resulted in two times being questioned, registered and asked to leave the area by both millitary, airport and patrolling police during the two hours my dad and I were there.
