During a concert at l'eglise St Nazaire in Azay le Ferron, this performance had the audience riveted. My camera doesn't do it justice, it was simply superb.

Some folk like this kind of thing, some are just curious about it, this is a short walk around the inside of the church here in Azay-le-Ferron, dedicated to Saint Nazaire. It is (of course, in this part of France) a Roman Catholic Church, with a high altar, tabernacle, in which is 'reserved sacrament', with stations of the cross and statues, of Mary, the mother of God, St Joseph, St Joan (of Arc), one whose name is lost in the mists of time, possibly St Solange, St Therese of Lisieux, St Anthony.
There are also representations of Christ on the Cross, and memorial tablets to those from the town who perished in World Wars 1 and 2.
