The majority of journalists around the world have chosen to develop their subject on controversial and sensational themes: violence, war, crime. But all these facts represent only 1% of our world and its inhabitants, forgetting the remaining 99% of which we never speak.
I chose to visit every country on the planet and film them to present them in High Definition format but in a raw way, without music, without comment. Simply, reality in all its truth. Thus, you will be able to make your own idea of the world in which you live.
Currently, I have already visited nearly 170 countries and my world tour continues thanks to you who follow me.

A Walk Through Cathedrale St. Sauveur in Aix-en-Provence, France

Places to see in ( Aix en Provence - France ) Cathedrale St Sauveur
Aix Cathedral in Aix-en-Provence in southern France is a Roman Catholic cathedral and the seat of the Archbishop of Aix-en-Provence and Arles. It is built on the site of the 1st century Roman forum of Aix. Built and re-built from the 12th until the 19th century, it includes Romanesque, Gothic and Neo-Gothic elements, as well as Roman columns and parts of the baptistery from a 6th-century Christian church. It is a national monument of France.
The cathedral is located on the route of the Roman road, the Via Aurelia. A fragment of a Roman wall and the columns of the baptistery seem to be the origin of the legend that the church was built on top of a Roman temple dedicated to Apollo. The historian Pitton (1668) claimed that the temple had been dedicated to a sun god, basing his claim upon the discovery of the leg of a statue uncovered at the site.
Around the year 500, under the Bishop Basilius, a group of episcopal buildings was constructed on top of the old Roman forum, including a chapel, a baptistery and several other rooms. At the beginning of the 12th century, a new church was begun on the same site, with Romanesque walls bearing the three bays of a wide single nave, constituting a parish church dedicated to the Virgin Mary (Notre Dame de la Sède).
A second nave, dedicated to Saint Maximinus, was built in about 1165-1177 as the church of the canons, which was located between the first nave and the baptistery. The choir of this church ended in a flat chevet wall, which connected by a door with the Sainte-Chapelle, part of the original 6th century episcopal buildings. The chapel was rebuilt in the 12th century, and when the Gothic nave was added, was incorporated into the cathedral and became the oratory of the Saviour. It was destroyed in 1808
The original Romanesque front of Saint Mary's nave was destroyed in the 15th century, and replaced with a new Gothic front and a bell tower. The façade features four statues by Jean Mone, made in 1512-1513, on the middle level: Saint Mitre (carrying his head); Saint Mary Magdalene, (carrying a flask of perfume); the boy-bishop Saint Louis of Toulouse (d. 1297), the brother of Robert of Naples, Count of Provence 1309-43; and the other Saint Louis, King Louis IX of France (d. 1270), his great-uncle.
The baptistery was built at the beginning of the 6th century, at about the same time as similar baptisteries in Fréjus Cathedral and Riez Cathedral in Provence, in Albenga in Liguria, and in Djémila, Algeria. Only the octagonal baptismal pool and the lower part of the walls remain from that period. The other walls and the dome were rebuilt in the Renaissance. A viewing hole in the floor reveals the bases of the porticoes of the Roman forum under the baptistery.

Places to see in ( Dinan - France ) Basilique St Sauveur
Places to see in ( Dinan - France ) Basilique St Sauveur
The Saint-Sauveur Basilica of Dinan is a religious building dedicated to Roman Catholic worship located in Dinan , France. Only parish church intramural included with the St. Malo church , it is also a place of Marian devotion to Our Lady of Virtues, bas-relief of the xv th century formerly kept at the Couvent des Cordeliers. The object of local veneration, this representation of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary allowed the building to be erected in a minor basilica by Pope Pius XII on May 23, 1954.
The church is located in the French department of Côtes-d'Armor , municipality of Dinan , in the heart of the protected area . It overlooks the Rance . Behind the bedside is the English Garden, former cemetery. According to the legend, Riwallon le Roux would have founded in 1112, on his return from the Holy Land , the priory Saint-Sauveur de Dinan. Taken prisoner during the First Crusade , the knight, grand son of Josselin I st Dinan, son of Olivier I st Dinan and brother of Geoffroy I stof Dinan, would have vowed to build a church dedicated to the Holy Savior and the Holy Trinity if he ever saw his country again.
The church of the 12th century century is the subject of a campaign of important works from 1480: a aisle with a line of chapels is built north of the Romanesque nave; the upper level of the facade is rebuilt. South of the nave, a side aisle was planned but not built; instead, a small chapel with three sides is built at the former location of a door, from 1500. The chevet is completely rebuilt from 1507, under the direction of a master builder named Roland Bougnard. The ambulatory and the radiant chapels are vaulted before 1545, date of the collapse of the bell tower. After this event, we renounce to vault the upper parts of the choir and the transept, begun in 1557. These parts are completed in 1646 by a wood paneling,th century .
Outside, the Romanesque part is exceptional: the western facade is of a very unusual style in Brittany and the south wall seems of Byzantine influence. Several hypotheses have been proposed to explain the origin of this architecture, some see a style imported from the Near East to the return of the Crusades, other indirect Byzantine influence through Poitevin monuments Roger Great looks for this second hypothesis. The lower part of the western facade is actually closer to a more widespread Romanesque style in the regions of Poitou and Saintonge in Britain (the upper part rebuilt in the xv th century belongs to the Gothic style). Réné Couffon recalls that some authors compare it to the facade of the church of Saint Nicolas of Civray.
The south wall is very original, the lower part takes the configuration present inside the basilica: double arches separated by buttresses in columns or pilasters joining the terminal cornice (similar structure to that of the school Poitevin). The arches rest on carved capitals (representations of vices and animals). In the upper part, an alternation of windows and concave niches recall a composition of Byzantine style. The cornice rests on a series of carved modillions . The Chapel of St. John located at the third span when the xv th century, it could have been built on the site of an ancient gate between the two pilasters.
The Saint-Sauveur basilica was rebuilt in the xv th century and xvi th century, builders have adopted are the flamboyant Gothic architecture as the Saint-Malo Dinan church whose construction is contemporary with that of the basilica. Given the duration of the works, Renaissance elements were also introduced within the architecture ( bedside tables , credence inside the chapels).
The lateral and radiating chapels are covered with simple vaults except for three of them which are covered with a vault with multiple ribs ( liernes and tiercerons ) and pendulous keys . The keystones are carved in the form of portraits of characters, one of them could represent the veil of Veronique. The credenzas of the radiant chapels are remarkable, they are abundantly carved and represent foliage, characters, the instruments of the Passion , ... That of the axial chapel is bordered by a Renaissance panel (wild and griffin ) inspired by art grotesque very common in the achievements of this era.
