Eidsdal
Eidsdal is a village and valley in the municipality of Norddal in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located along the south side of the Norddalsfjorden, about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) southwest of Sylte. Eidsdal has approximately 400 inhabitants. The village stretches from the Norddalsfjorden up to the lake Eidsvatnet in the direction of Geiranger. Eidsdal is part of The Golden Route, a well known tourist route that connects Eidsdal and Geiranger with Romsdal and Trollstigen. Norwegian National Road 63 runs north and south through Eidsdal, with a ferry connection to Linge, across the fjord.

Eidsdal er ei bygd og et dalføre i Norddal kommune i Møre og Romsdal med rundt 400 innbyggere. Eidsdal ligger på sørsiden av Norddalsfjorden.
Denne bygda strekker seg fra Storfjorden opp til Eidsvatnet i retning Geiranger. Veien gjennom dalen er en del av den kommende nasjonale turistveien Geiranger- Trollstigen. Eidsdal er i all hovedsak en landbruksbygd. De fleste bøndene driver melkeproduksjon innen ku og geit.
Turisme er den andre store næringsveien i Eidsdal, med flere campingplasser, hytte- og romutleie. Videre har det vært stor satsing på hyttebygging de senere år.

This village stretches from Storfjorden up to Eidsvatnet towards Geiranger. The road through the valley is part of the upcoming National Tourist Road Trollstigen Geirangerfjord. Eidsdal is mainly an agricultural village. Most farmers engaged in milk production in cows and goats.
Tourism is the second major commercial road in Eidsdal, with several campsites, cabins and rooms to let. Furthermore, there has been major investment in building cabins in recent years.

Моя первая зима в середине Июля. Если раньше снежные вершины можно наблюдать только издали, то теперь дорога привела прямо туда. Машина катится вниз по долине в сторону фьорда Гейрангер, а небо постепенно темнеет. Попуток не было, встречки появлялись очень редко — не любят норвежцы ездить по ночам.
