女郎拒绝开房惨遭KTV中国主管暴打
（金边讯）一名女郎因拒绝同客人到酒店开房，被KTV中国籍管理人暴打。
事件于23日9时左右，在桑园区的七号公馆KTV。
受害女子向媒体表示，在这间KTV打工的友人邀请她到这里玩乐，她因此邀请一名闺蜜陪同。
她说，她不是KTV职员，但偶尔会过来玩。事发当晚，她们走进KTV，刚好中国籍管理人员邀请她们陪其友人喝酒，她们为了赚取小费，而同意陪坐，但对方却要求她们到酒店开房过夜。
“我们不是陪睡女郎，所以我们拒绝了。”她说，在听到对方要求他们到酒店开房后，令她们感到被侮辱，于是走出KTV厢房，不料，中国籍管理人员却阻止她们，扯头发，还飞踢她。
“工作人员都目睹这一切，里面也有监视器。”她们表示，事发后，中国籍管理人员提出500美元赔偿，但被她断然拒绝。
“中国人在这里经商，却侮辱柬埔寨人。我不想要赔偿，我希望警方秉公办事。”
事发当晚，女子到附近警察局报案。

rooms were spacious and very modern with rain head showers and coloured lighting
lobby had a bar and a restaurant plus computers for guest use
i paid 120 canadian dollars a night but i saw it as low as 80 a night - i booked in high season

Self-help groups transform life for older people in Myanmar
63-year-old Rae Phaw led a life of near isolation before HelpAge International set up an older people's self-help group in her village.
The groups allow older people to have a greater say in how their communities develop. It provides low-interest loans, medical care and agricultural and business training.
So far, these self-help groups have benefitted 11,000 families in Myanmar and raised the status of older people.
