Ekasup cultural Village Port Vila Vanuatu 4K
On our trip in Port Vila on Vanuatu, we first went to the Erakor rainforest. In the Ekasup Cultural Village, we got a perfect insight into the culture and traditions of the Melanesian people. It is probably the best tourist attraction Vanuatu. The villagers wear traditional clothing and gave an insight into culture, the ancient way of life and showed the ceremony of the Firewalker. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good, but our other stations show in the film that Vanuatu is definitely worth a trip.

Tour from the ship. Description:
Arriving at Ekasup, enjoy a short walk through the magnificent tropical forest to Ekasup Cultural Village. Here, you will be welcomed by the Chief in his native costume along with his warriors in full regalia, complete with war clubs, spears, bows and arrows. This is a marvelous photo opportunity and the villagers are quite friendly and happy to pose for pictures.
The compound is divided into several different areas, and the Chief and his guides will take you to each one, giving you a sample of their unique lifestyle. It is remarkable how they are able to live their daily lives without the aid of electricity!
Immerse yourself in the Melanesian traditions and customs when you learn how they prepare native products and ancient herbal medicines from the abundant flora. Watch the men demonstrate their hunting and trapping skills. Admire the beautiful woven handicrafts and baskets created by the women and used for food preparation and storage. You will have an opportunity to see how the traditional dish laplap is prepared. No tour of the Ekasup Cultural Village is complete without hearing the chief's chilling tales of the tribe's history of cannibalism.
