El Alamein War Museum
The El Alamein War Museum (105 kilometers west of Alexandria of Egypt) is placed where, in 1942, Commonwealth Allies and the Axis soldiers fought one of the most decisive battles of World War II. The Museum is an exaustive illustration of the El Alamein Battle and, more, of the story of World War II in North Africa, containing records of all the events. Even before entering the Museum proper, in the garden are huge army tanks and various larger weapons. Inside the Museum there are five halls. Each of them is dedicated to United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries, Italy, Germany and Egypt.
El Alamein
This is a video of the photos I took when I visited the El Alamein Museum and the British Commonwealth Memorial in June 2009. Unfortunately because of time constraints and also our guide not doing well in the weather, I didn't get to see the memorials for the other nations involved such as Germany. Regardless of your nationality or views concerning the war, if you're ever in Egypt and get the chance to see the museum and the memorials I strongly advise you to do so. Being up close to all the vechicles, weapons and relics of the battle and the war in North Africa was fascinating for me since I'm a military nutter and lover of history. It was also extremely humbling to walk among the graves at the British Commonwealth Memorial, wish I was able to visit the other memorials too.
This is the first music video that I've made, so please feel free to comment on this video and what I could've done to improve it. Hope you enjoy.

El Alamein War Cemetery, Egypt
El Alamein is a village, bypassed by the main coast road, approximately 130 kilometres west of Alexandria, Egypt on the road to Marsa Matrouh. The first Commission road direction sign is located just beyond the Alamein police checkpoint and all visitors should turn off from the main road onto the parallel old coast road. The cemetery lies off the road, slightly beyond a ridge, and is indicated by road direction signs approximately 25 metres before the low metal gates and stone wing walls which are situated centrally at the road edge at the head of the access path into the cemetery. The Cross of Sacrifice feature may be seen from the road.
