This is a compilation video of my diving experiences in El Nido, Palawan in the Philippines. The names of the dive sites are: Pacanayas, South Miniloc, North Rock, Nat Nat and Twin Rocks. The part with all the Yellow Snappers was filmed at South Miniloc.

Scuba Diving in El Nido, Philippines
I absolutely love scuba diving. If you are ever in Southeast Asia that is the place to get you PADI or SSI dive license. It's relatively inexpensive and there is so much cool marine life.
Once you are certified, 1 dive is usually around 30 USD.

On my second dive I likely popped my ear drum but it's fully healed now. I've always had bad sinuses so it is harder for me to equalize the pressure but this is not common at all!

I saw a lot of species of tropical fish like parrotfish, clown fish, angelfish and damselfish, along with lionfish, a brown marbled grouper, hell's fire anemone and other strange species like a robust ghost pipefish, passion salmacis urchin and flying gurnard.

Day in the life of a Divemaster in El Nido, Philippines
I was lucky enough to experience working as a divemaster in El Nido, Palawan in the Philippines. This day I didn't have any customer so I brought a camera underwater and enjoyed a full day of fun diving. We went to El Nido's top 3 dive sites: North Rock, South Miniloc and Dilmacad Tunnel, so hopefully you will be able to get the idea of how the diving in El Nido is like!

Dive in El Nido Philippines
Check through this video what you can see while diving at El Nido on Palawan island. Best dive site there are South miniloc and North rock, in north rock on the morning you will find a huge scool of jack fish in a tornado shape but i didn't record it.
Warning : no whale shark or Manta ray there except if you are extremely lucky.
However, I highly recommend Ranmarc for fun diving there.

Cliff Jumping - El Nido, Palawan, Philippines
While at El Nido, Palawan in January, I was looking for something a little bit different and adventurous to do, and was fortunate to spend a day cliff jumping at various locations around the surrounding islands.
We jumped at several sites ranging in height from 5m (warm up jump) to approx. 30m (not for the feint hearted)
We had to climb to each spot, which was almost harder than the jumps themselves. I was not at all prepared for how jagged and sharp the cliffs were. My hands and legs were well cut up by day's end, leaving me with a few permanent 'souvenirs'. This being said it was a great experience.
