Muxito - Hotel - DJI Mavic Pro Series
Video: Portugal do Ar
The Muxito was a luxury tourist enterprise that made a fury in the 50s and 60s of the 20th century. It was located in Vale dos Gatos (hence its logo being a cat) in the municipality of Seixal, on the edge of the EN10 and was constituted by a hotel, aparthotel, motel, restaurant, nightclub, swimming pool, tennis courts, artificial lakes and A small bullring.
This tourist complex was inaugurated in 1956 and worked until the early 70's. Although the Muxito was a lucrative project had to be closed because it was associated with other (ruinous) businesses of its owner and ended up public auction in 1973, being acquired By a company named Lare-i-ra, having a Yugoslavian named Gordana Bayloni who in 1941 had fled his homeland due to the German invasion.
The new owners wanted to open the Muxito again and even extend it through a revolutionary project by the famous French architect Jacques Couëlle: there would be another hotel and more villas dispersed throughout the property and the first large shopping center of the country would be built. Property would be expanded because the company owned hundreds of acres on adjacent land.
But the project was no more than the role: after April 25 the Muxito was occupied by revolutionary groups (due to being an icon of the upper class) and practically all their stuffing was stolen (it remained intact inside the buildings).
Several attempts were made for the state to indemnify the company but to no avail. In 1999 Gordana Bayloni died and of the 9 hectares that still survive there has been no financial capacity to re-erect the Muxito. Therefore since April 25th that this has been constantly vandalized due to the abandonment to which it was subjected.
The Motel was made up of 13 villas scattered across the woods of many acres. For tourists to explore it were motorized power. It also had a very large artificial lake that allowed its patrons to rowing.
It had several tennis courts that today are no longer visible due to the appearance of the A2 motorway that cut the property.
The Olympic pool was surrounded by apartments, bar, and other spaces of support which reveals well the greatness of the project: still today it is rare to find tourist projects supported by swimming pools of 50 meters. This one had a diving board with 10 meters of height.
It was usual for foreign teams and sports teams to train in him.

El Morro, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico | Fort San Felipe del Morro
— If there's one word that describes Fort San Felipe del Morro, in San Juan, Puerto Rico it's awesome! And that's exactly what the weather was also like this past weekend. It was awesome. So Zoraida and I took to the road to finish this two-part series about the Spanish Forts in Puerto Rico.
Fort San Felipe del Morro is a 6-level military fortification that rises 145 feet above sea level. However, when you first arrive it doesn't seem tall at all. This is because the entrance to the fort is through a concrete bridge that goes straight into the fifth level.
The purpose of Fort San Felipe del Morro was to guard the entrance to San Juan Bay. And in doing so it also guarded the southern part of the city of San Juan. The eastern side of the city was protected by Fort San Cristobal and the north has so many reefs that trying to land anywhere on that coast would have been pure suicide.
Spanish forts in Puerto Rico were built using the latest technology of the day. And while they seem simple today, there are actually many engineering, architecture and military strategy techniques built into the forts that still surprise the visitor. Be sure to ask your friendly park ranger about the construction of the city walls and the tunnels at Fort San Felipe del Morro and Fort San Cristobal. There's a lot more there than you might think.
The San Juan National Historic Site was added to the UNESCO Register of World Heritage Sites in 1983. It is operated by the United States National Park Service. For more information call 787-729-6777.
This video is not an official publication of the United States National Park Service. It only reflects the views of Orlando Mergal, a concerned local travel blogger that loves his beautiful island of Puerto Rico and enjoys showing it to the world.

Perfectly located on a lightly travelled strip of sand along the picturesque Southern California coastline in the highly sought after community of La Jolla, sits this magnificent La Jolla Oceanfront Estate; 7400 Vista Del Mar. Truly setting the standard for oceanfront properties, this stunning 8,100 square foot, 5 bed, 10 bath estate conjures up images of old Santorini architecture, with carefully positioned arched windows, clean rounded lines and two iconic domes.
With the design concept created by award winning local architect Don Edson, whose projects can be seen as far away as Saudi Arabia, a delicate balance of traditional architectural design with state of the art amenities has been achieved.
The gated grounds open up to an impressive glass entryway, where the eye is immediately drawn to the grand staircase lined with exquisitely crafted glass bannisters. The voluminous main living area features a comfortable sitting area leading into the open concept kitchen, all with astounding ocean views. An additional private living room is only steps away.
The expansive ground level offers a nanny suite, children’s bedroom, fitness room, billiard lounge and a one of a kind theatre area, with seating for six. Each space has been meticulously designed for optimal living and entertaining.
Located on the entire third level of this La Jolla Oceanfront Estate , the remarkable master suite features a private dressing room, office, kitchenette and a spa inspired master bath with an oversized soaker tub. Enjoy the sunset on the master patio with a glass of fine wine and experience the endless panoramic views of the coast.
Set on a pristine and secluded white sandy beach, this La Jolla Oceanfront Estate is conveniently located near some of La Jolla’s top attractions. The Rite
The Rite is a supernatural thriller that uncovers the Devil's reach to even one of the holiest places on Earth. Inspired by true events, the film follows seminary student Michael Kovak (Colin O'Donoghue), who is sent to study exorcism at the Vatican in spite of his own doubts about the controversial practice and even his own faith. Wearing his deep skepticism like armor, Michael challenges his superiors to look to psychiatry, rather than demons, in treating the possessed. Only when he's sent to apprentice with the unorthodox Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins)--a legendary priest who has performed thousands of exorcisms--does Michael's armor begin to fall. As he is drawn into a troubling case that seems to transcend even Father Lucas's skill, he begins to glimpse a phenomenon science can't explain or control...and an evil so violent and terrifying that it forces him to question everything he believes.

It is also certain that there are projects, just as there are plans, that often do not come to fruition because in the process, from the point of conception to completion, businessmen get cold feet one way or another; businessmen come up against problems; businessmen cease to place priority on the projects with Cuba because the projects take too long.

STORYLINE:
A delegation of Spanish businessmen are in Havana this week to lobby Cuba for greater protection and better procedures for trade between the two countries.
The conference will act as a discussion forum for both sides, in order to put together a better business plan for future investment projects.
The Cuban delegation was led by Vice President José Ramón Fernandez.
Spain, along with Canada, is Cuba's leading business partner.
Almost half of all Cuban joint business ventures with foreign investors involve Spain.
Business consultants say interest among Spanish investors has gathered pace in recent months.
Small and middle sized companies represented in Cuba are now being overtaken by major investors.
The leading investment sector continues to be tourism, Cuba's largest foreign currency earner that accounts for 53 per cent of the island's total foreign currency revenue.
On Tuesday, Cuba celebrated its millionth visitor this year.
Minister for Tourism Ibrahim Ferradaz expected this number to continue to grow significantly.
Spain exported last year goods valued at 516 (m) million U-S dollars and imported Cuban products worth a total of 116 (m) million U-S dollars.

Montenegro: Perast
* * *

SUMMARY
=======
The Canary Islands (; Spanish: Islas Canarias, pronounced [ˈizlas kaˈnaɾjas]) is a Spanish archipelago and the southernmost autonomous community of Spain located in the Atlantic Ocean, 100 kilometres (62 miles) west of Morocco at the closest point. The Canaries are among the outermost regions (OMR) of the European Union proper. It is also one of the eight regions with special consideration of historical nationality recognized as such by the Spanish Government. The Canary Islands belong to the African Plate like the Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla, the two on the African mainland. The seven main islands are (from largest to smallest in area) Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro. The archipelago includes much smaller islands and islets: La Graciosa, Alegranza, Isla de Lobos, Montaña Clara, Roque del Oeste and Roque del Este. It also includes a series of adjacent roques (those of Salmor, Fasnia, Bonanza, Garachico and Anaga). In ancient times, the island chain was often referred to as the Fortunate Isles. The Canary Islands are the most southerly region of Spain and the largest and most populated archipelago of the Macaronesia region. Historically, the Canary Islands has been considered a bridge between four continents: Africa, North America, South America and Europe. The archipelago's beaches, climate and important natural attractions, especially Maspalomas in Gran Canaria and Teide National Park and Mount Teide (a World Heritage Site) in Tenerife (the third tallest volcano in the world measured from its base on the ocean floor), make it a major tourist destination with over 12 million visitors per year, especially Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. The islands have a subtropical climate, with long hot summers and moderately warm winters. The precipitation levels and the level of maritime moderation vary depending on location and elevation. Green areas as well as desert exist on the archipelago. Due to their location above the temperature inversion layer, the high mountains of these islands are ideal for astronomical observation. For this reason, two professional observatories, Teide Observatory on the island of Tenerife and Roque de los Muchachos Observatory on the island of La Palma, have been built on the islands.
The capital of the Autonomous Community is shared by the cities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which in turn are the capitals of the provinces of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Province of Las Palmas. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has been the largest city in the Canaries since 1768, except for a brief period in the 1910s. Between the 1833 territorial division of Spain and 1927 Santa Cruz de Tenerife was the sole capital of the Canary Islands. In 1927 a decree ordered that the capital of the Canary Islands be shared, as it remains at present. The third largest city of the Canary Islands is San Cristóbal de La Laguna (a World Heritage Site) on Tenerife. This city is also home to the Consejo Consultivo de Canarias, which is the supreme consultative body of the Canary Islands.During the time of the Spanish Empire, the Canaries were the main stopover for Spanish galleons on their way to the Americas, which came south to catch the prevailing northeasterly trade winds.

► SWEDISH NOUNS INFO
Nouns have two grammatical genders: utrum (common) and neutrum (neuter), which determine their definite forms as well as the form of any adjectives used to describe them. Noun gender is largely arbitrary and must be memorized; however, around three quarters of all Swedish nouns are common gender. Living beings are often common nouns, like in en katt (cat), en häst (horse), en fluga (fly), etc.
