Elbow Harbour, Elbow Saskatchewan
Last year I went down to Diefenbaker lake and shot a video with all the sailboats and boats tarped up for winter. It was cold and ugly out so I thought I would go down in the summer and shoot a new video to show everyone just how beautiful this place was. It is a jewel in Saskatchewan and everyone should go down to see the harbour at Elbow Saskatchewan. I created this video for the fine people at the Lakeside Marina who are always very kind and helpful with everything.

Excerpt from our Elbow Lake hike description on 10Adventures.com
The hike to Elbow Lake is a wonderful, family-friendly hike in the Highwood Area. It’s also the perfect first backpack trip, as Elbow Lake is so close to the trailhead. We do this hike every year with our family.
The hike to Elbow Lake is a classic family hike, with great scenery for limited effort. There is also Elbow Lake Backcountry Campground, and for many families this is the first backpacking trip they do as a family.
From the Elbow Pass Parking lot, take the signed path that heads out from the parking lot. You’ll follow this wide path for about 1.0km. At the 1.0km mark, you’ll find yourself in a wide-open cirque with views all around you. On your right, you can see a peak from the Mount Rae massif: its shape reminiscent of a breaking wave.

Elbow Lake and Rae Glacier Hike. A hike for the whole Family. Kananaskis Country, Alberta Canada
August 3/2019 Summer Hike
Today we are in Elbow-Sheep Wildland Provincial Park in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. We will be hiking up to Rae Glacier via Elbow Lake. The trail is 8 kilometers out and back, with an elevation gain of 462 meters. For the first 1.5 kilometers the trail was very busy up to Elbow Lake, but once we got past the lake, we pretty much had the trail to ourselves. As we hiked up towards the glacier the views were stunning all around us. Approaching the glacier, the trail becomes very rocky, and you have to be mindful of where you are stepping. The glacier is almost gone now, but the hike up to it was very enjoyable. I recommend this hike to everyone.

What your trail elbow should do on GOLF DOWN SWING
Here is part 2 of the Trail Elbow Movement series. Moving your trail arm and especially your elbow correctly on your golf down swing will allow you to generate maximum club head speed as you strike the golf ball, as well as making it easier for you to control the shape and therefore direction of your golf shot. Here's a really simple video and exercise to work on to get you making the correct move with your trail elbow on your down swing

Elbow Lake and Rae Glacier Hike Kananaskis | Journey Alberta
In this video I venture into the Elbow-Sheep Wildland Provincial Park in Kananaskis to do the hike to Elbow Lake and Rae Glacier. The trek to Elbow Lake is a bit steep but fairly short. There's a backcountry campground at the lake which is great because the trail is not long at all. The Rae Glacier is beyond the campground on an easy to follow trail up until you being to turn right to follow a creek. The creek is actually flowing from the glacier, and here it can be easy to get lost so follow the red flagging on the branches. It's a great hike overall and one of my favourite that I've done!
This video was originally part of my Kananaskis camping video from 2018, I thought I'd upload just the hike from that video so it can be enjoy without the other camping stuff!

Elbow Falls, Alberta, Canada
Elbow Falls is a beautiful place to stop and do some sight seeing, or just to enjoy being out of the city! If you live in the north end of Calgary, you can be there in as little at 40-50 minutes. Amenities include, parking lot, out houses, walking paths, hiking trails.
The area also features a few different look out points, trails to hike, and a cool little place to hang out by the water if you want to go where we were in the video. To get there, you go to the furthest lookout point, hop a small fence (easy), walk down the beaten path and make your way down to the water.
There are other cool places to check out on the way to and from Elbow Falls, so be sure to pack some food/water/sunscreen and try to make a day of it!
