015 Eltville Castle and Eberbach Monastery in Eltville
Km 511 Electoral Eltville Castle, St. Peter's and Paul's Parish Church
1975 - Euro Vacation #1 Frankfurt & Rhine River Cruise
1975 European Vacation Part 1 - The Frankfurt, Germany, Hauptbahnhof (train station), and the Rhine River Cruise. Lots of great footage of castle after castle after castle...!
The Brogans (Harry H. Brogan, Sr., Mary Sue Clay Brogan, Harry H. Brogan, Jr., Edward Scott Brogan), flew from Manama, Bahrain, up to Germany, Frankfurt am Main.
We took the train from Frankfurt to Weisbaden where we took the Rhine River Cruise up to northern Germany. We probably disembarked in Koblenz as that's the town where the footage stops. I know we took a train from northern Germany to Amsterdam, Holland rather than taking the Rhine Rive into Holland.
Castles in order of appearance:
(note that “Burg” is another name for castle or Schloss), all are in Germany:
1) White tower: Kurfürstliche Burg Eltville (Electoral Castle) in Eltville; with the brown tower of the Parish Church of St. Peter & Paul just up from it, also in Eltville.
2) Rochuskapelle (Chapel of St. Roch) in Bingen.
3) Alderturm (tower) in Rudesheim (with train going by).
4) Burg Klopp (single tower above the trees) in Bingen.
5) Yellow tower on island: Mauseturm (“Mouse Tower”).
6) Ruine Burg Ehrenfels (“Ehrenfels Castle” overlooking the Mauseturm) in Rudesheim.
7) Another shot of the Mausetrum & another shot of the Ruine Burg Ehrenfels.
8) Group of ruins/castles on hill: Romantik-Schloß Burg Rheinstein (Rheinstein Castle) in Trechtingshausen.
9) Another shot of Rheinstein Castle.
10) Another set of ruins, this time Reichenstein Castle also in Trechingshausen.
11) Burg Sooneck (two tiered tower on hillside) in Niederheimbach.
12) “Heimburg in Niederheimbach.”
13) Sonnenturm (with pointed roof) in Bacharach.
14) Ruins with white tower/steeple: Ruins are the Ruine Wernerkapelle in Bacharach; the white tower is the town of Bacharach’s church.
15) White building in island: Burg Pfalzgrafenstein in Kaub.
16) Burg Gutenfels (towering over Kaub).
17) After rounding the bend: Burg Katz towering over the town of St. Goars-Hausen.
18) Burg Rheinfels in Sankt Goar, which is across the river from Burg Katz
19) The very intact Marksburg Castle further up the river in Braubach.
20) The fairy tale Schloss Stolzenfels in Koblenz.
Joy Turned Into Sorrow (1930)
Full title reads: Coblenz. Joy turned into sorrow. Tragedy ended President Hindenburg's triumphal tour, when crowded pontoon bridge collapsed, drowning over 50 people.
Coblenz, Germany.
Various shots of decorated boats on the river.
Crowds greet German President Paul Von Hindenburg.
Shots of the wrecked remains of a pontoon bridge following the accident when it collapsed. Boats are gathered round doing salvage work.

Top 10 Reasons Why Moms Prefer to Stay Home Than Go Out
As a mom, I still like to stay in touch with my friends and see them every once in a while. It can be challenging to go out (in the evening) when you are a mom because of all the things you have to do and prepare ahead of time just to be able to leave the house without the baby. Sometimes, I think it would just be easier to stay at home. Here are my Top 10 Reasons Why as a Mom, I May Prefer To Stay At Home Than To Go Out. It's just a fun video, I'm not complaining about motherhood, just wanted to share & maybe moms (parents) can relate & get a laugh. Hope you like this video!

First Time Unpacking Halloween & Autumn Decorations with Baby
This is the first year Alessandra helped me unpack our Halloween & Fall Decorations! We had so much fun & lots of laughs! I try to speak to Alessandra as much as I can every day& expose her to new experiences because it is good for her development. She learned some new words while we unpacked. Hopefully this holiday decoration unpacking will become an annual tradition she will enjoy for the years to come! I know I had a wonderful time! Even unpacking is fun when our baby girl is helping me! Can't wait to unpack our Christmas decorations with her, she's going to have a ball! Hope you like his video!

Tasty Healthy Chip: Perfect Snack
This Week's Snack is a Multigrain Tortilla Chip. It is tasty, has healthy ingredients & is low in sodium. It is a healthy replacement for potato or tortilla chips, and this chip actually tastes delicious! I have been snacking on these for the past three weeks & am pretty much obsessed with them. I also like that I can feed some to Alessandra as a snack or with a meal (just a few though because they have fiber & she's still a toddler). I even shared them with guests and they liked them too! Watch video for more & to find out where you can find these.

Night Out & Home Again Movie Review
We enjoyed a girls night out at the movies for the screening of Home Again, starring Reese Witherspoon. It was an adventure getting to the movie theater, but we made it...and even arrived a little early. Screening was held at Arclight Cinema La Jolla at Westfield UTC mall, we also review the movie theater and it's more upscale experience. Thank you for watching! SUMMARY
=======
Düsseldorf (UK: , US: , German: [ˈdʏsl̩dɔɐ̯f] (listen); often Dusseldorf in English sources; Low Franconian and Ripuarian: Düsseldörp [ˈdʏsl̩dœɐ̯p]; archaic Dutch: Dusseldorp) is the capital and second-largest city of the most populous German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia after Cologne, as well as the seventh-largest city in Germany, with a population of 617,280. At the confluence of the Rhine and its tributary Düssel, the city lies in the centre of both the Rhine-Ruhr and the Rhineland Metropolitan Regions with the Cologne Bonn Region to its south and the Ruhr to its north. Most of the city lies on the right bank of the Rhine (as opposed to Cologne, whose city centre lies on the river's left bank). The city is the largest in the German Low Franconian dialect area (closely related to Dutch). Dorf meaning village in German, the -dorf suffix (English cognate: thorp) is unusual in the German-speaking area for a settlement of Düsseldorf's size.
Mercer's 2012 Quality of Living survey ranked Düsseldorf the sixth most livable city in the world. Düsseldorf Airport is Germany's third-busiest airport after those of Frankfurt and Munich, serving as the most important international airport for the inhabitants of the densely populated Ruhr, Germany's largest urban area. Düsseldorf is an international business and financial centre, renowned for its fashion and trade fairs, and is headquarters to one Fortune Global 500 and two DAX companies. Messe Düsseldorf organises nearly one fifth of premier trade shows. As second largest city of the Rhineland, Düsseldorf holds Rhenish Carnival celebrations every year in February/March, the Düsseldorf carnival celebrations being the third most popular in Germany after those held in Cologne and Mainz. There are 22 institutions of higher education in the city including the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, the university of applied sciences (Hochschule Düsseldorf), the academy of arts (Kunstakademie Düsseldorf) (Joseph Beuys, Emanuel Leutze, August Macke, Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, and Andreas Gursky), and the university of music (Robert-Schumann-Musikhochschule Düsseldorf). The city is also known for its pioneering influence on electronic/experimental music (Kraftwerk) and its Japanese community.
