- Asphalt Orchestra, a radical new music group, held a flashmob at the Matador Bookstore on September 12, 2012. Dubbed a guerilla musical force the 12 piece ensemble marched around the bookstore, playing a few songs in each of the outdoor eating areas, and finally ending their performance in the bookstore.
