How to get there:
- Take Subway line 4 to Seoul Grand ParkStation and go to Exit 2
- Take the Elephant Train (₩2.000) from Entrance to Seoulland Main Gate or simply walk for 15 minutes from the Subway Station
Seoulland is located on Seoul Grand Park as it also contains Forest Bath Resort, National Modern Art Center, Seoul Zoo and other great attractions nearby. Seoulland has up to 40 ride ( while many of them are catered to children; there are a number of adult rides as well!) such as :
1. Sky X (Too bad I can't take this one due to weather issue..)
2. Black Hole 2000 (I ride it twice! Take a look on my vid *beware of the sound of birth-giving-sound-like*)
3. Top Spin (You may know this thing as Tornado in Indonesia ahaha)
4. Double Loop Coaster (Refreshing yet pleasing!)
5. Archery Range (Don't miss your chance to be Katniss Everdeen freely)
The uniqueness of this park is some rides and food kiosks had a Korean folk theme going on. Basically, Seoulland is easier to access than Everland. Everland may be more expensive but they have more attractions and performances. Eventhough Seoulland has also plenty of beautiful photo opportunities all around, I prefer to choose Everland.
Note:
- Start early or it will get crowded soon, i arrived at 9.30 am but the queue is unbelievably long (the park opens at 10.00 am sharp everyday)
- Admission: If you want to buy it advance, it's gonna be around ₩25,000. Better you pre-purchase it first, KKday's having the best rate as far as i know: ₩20,000
- Bring your own food and beverage since there is rarely a restaurant inside (Only Lotterian is available as Fast Food Stall)
- I went there on Winter hence I can enjoy the free Snow Sledding as many as I want! (Not to mention It's sooo cold lmao my whole body is freezing)

Teseum Safari Korea 2012
Teseum Safari is a teddy bear museum located in the Aewol-eup region of Jeju Island. It is one of the first museums in the world to exhibit all sorts of teddy bears and stitched dolls including ones shaped like wildlife animals, marine animals, flowers, birds, and more. The museum is spread over two large floors and features teddy bears arranged in adorable poses. Highlights of the museum include teddy bears shaped liked tigers, elephants, sharks, dolphins and even teddy bears based on characters from Greek mythology. Visitors can take photos with the teddy bears and famous tourist attractions such as 'Psyche World' are located nearby.

HUbby and I are first time to watch an elephant show in Jeju Island during our 5 days trip. We had great time watching but at the same time pity the animals. *sigh*

Following several years of protests and subsequent delays, the Korean Navy is gearing up to introduce a strategic naval base on Korea's scenic island of Jeju as early as January.
This... as part of Seoul’s efforts to shore up its maritime defense.
The nation's defense ministry press corps was given an exclusive preview of the naval base... our national defense correspondent Kim Hyun-bin is live in the studio to share that experience with us.
Hyun-bin, so you are one of the very first reporters to have seen the Jeju Naval Base. How was it on the ground?
Well, Conn-young, we hopped on a C-130 military transport plane and headed over to Jeju and once we arrived near the base, we were able to see the newly built docking ports occupied by naval ships including an Aegis destroyer and submarines. It was pretty impressive.
What functions do we expect this new naval base to have exactly?
The Navy says the port will be a civilian-military port with a dual purpose.
First of all, it's expected to bring in more foreign tourists... and second it's an ideal location for securing Korea's southern waters.
Let me show you.
At the bottom of the picture, you can see the civilian port, which has space for two 150-thousand-ton cruise ships.
A military official says that even an aircraft carrier could dock there.
A little north of there, is the naval port... big enough for 12 combat ships.
What you see to the right is a submarine flotilla, with space for three submarines.
Officials say everything is now in order and the base is scheduled to be finished by the end of the year.

Jeju naval base to be finished by year′s end Part 2

The South Korean Navy is putting the final touches on a new naval base on the southern tip of its southern resort island of Jeju.
The base，... which will station an estimated thirty－one hundred naval personnel，... covers nearly 500－thousand square meters and its docks extend 5 kilometers into the East China Sea.
The base has been the source of intense controversy since it was announced more than 20 years ago，... with local residents expressing deep opposition due to its impact on the environment.
″We are 94 percent done in terms of harbor and land construction，... so we are scheduled to be complete by the end of the year. We′ve done our best to construct the highest－tier civilian military port.″
Dozens of warships of all shapes and sizes have successfully docked at the port in test runs.
Officials say it proves the port is reliable.
″We′ve held numerous mooring tests and checked all the safety precautions. Everything went smoothly， so we concluded the base meets all the necessary guidelines.″
Navy officials say the base has the capacity to hold up to 20 combat ships at a time.
As a result，... it will enhance the South Korean Navy′s capabilities to counter North Korean provocations in the East AND the West Sea.
The new port also means warships can now reach the country′s border islands in the West Sea， including Yeonpyeong－do，... in 15 hours. That′s a cut in travel time by MORE than six hours as currently it takes roughly 21 hours from Korea′s southeastern port in Busan to the northwestern border islands.
The new port is also seen as a naval choke point from where North Korea would need to pass to sail further out to sea.
A Navy official said the base will allow South Korean warships to intercept any North Korean ships attempting to transport weapons of mass destruction to other parts of the world.

Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update.
Typhoon Danas is making its way north from the Philippines.
It's expected to pass Taiwan and gradually approach the Korean Peninsula over the next couple of days.
Keep in mind... as the typhoon's course changes, that'll affect the amount of rain and where it will fall.
As of now, the monsoon has begun to wet Jeju and some of the southern provinces,... which will expand up to the southern Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do provinces after midnight.
This monsoon is expected to bring up to 100 millimeters of rain to the south coast and Jeju area,... and less as we go further north.
Meanwhile, the capital is unlikely to be affected by the monsoon it'll just be cloudy tomorrow, but like Beijing, it'll be hot and steamy.
Most parts of the country will wake up to rain.
Seoul at 23 degrees Celsius,... and very similar elsewhere with Busan and Jeju starting off to 22 and 24 degrees respectively.
Into the afternoon, Seoul and Chuncheon will hit 33 degrees, whereas the rest will have lower readings.

Jeju Love Land
When we were in Jeju, we went to Love Land, which is pretty much a giant sex museum with lots of statues of sexy stuff. It's supposedly for newlywed couples to help them get more comfortable in talking about sex. We thought it'd be appropriate for us to shoot a video there.
