Sally Jones shares share how she got her legs back!!
About: Sally grew up in Queenstown, New Zealand. She now lives in Christchurch and is the proudest 50 year old mum you could imagine. After loosing four babies before her children she calls them her miracle babies.
Sally has been a type 1 diabetic for 39 years and has been a brittle diabetic for the duration. Unfortunately, pregnancy and diabetes don't mix well and one night was rushed to hospital with terrible pain in her left leg...

Over the next few years she had several operations to unblock and open up the arteries in her leg, they tried numerous times to have her leg but in the end there was nothing else they could do but to take it off. Best thing ever at the time... until a few years later she had to have the other leg amputated too.
As the years went by her body was starting to hurt everyday, every moment of every day was painful. Her blood was thick, it hurt to move. So she didn't! Life was difficult...until...
