I was in North Carolina for the weekend and decided to take a 2 hour drive from Greensboro and arrange a meetup with dieselducy, which is something I've wanted to do for a long time. elevatorgeek88 traveled straight from Columbia, a 4 hour drive, on the same day so all of us would meet up together.
This will be a double take showing the well-known elevator at the Elmwood Parking Garage, first with only dieselducy and second with both elevatorgeek88 and dieselducy.

This thing is super red! The cab walls and doors are all red! This is a United States elevator that was modded. The tray lighting may fool you into thinking this was an Elevator Electric elevator, but it's not quite in the right placement. This is a pretty basic and modded elevator. This is one of the most boring elevators on campus.

This elevator is made by US Elevator company. Still a good elevator. Reason why the camera is bit shaky bc the shaft is bit bumpy. Also, that elevator is hydraulic. First, I thought it was traction bc it felt too smooth for it.

ElevaTOUR: US Elevators at First Credit Union Building in Chandler Arizona
I recently checked out the elevators at the First Credit Union building in downtown Chandler Arizona and found out that they're US elevators that actually run very smoothly. So I decided to actually film them. As a subscriber to DieselDucy, it reminds me of the Elmwood Parking Garage elevator in Roanoke Virginia that was once a US elevator but has been modded by ThyssenKrupp.
I apologize if there's hiatus in my uploads, but I'm now back in school. I will try to make more videos when I can.

PRISTINE Rare US Square Button Hydraulic Elevator-6130 Freeport Blvd-Sacramento, CA
I've been driving past this little office building for years but every time I come down this way, I'm either short on time or I have other things to do. I finally decided to check this place out, and it was definitely not a disappointment! What I expected to be a Dover Impulse or Series 1 turned out to be a delightful United States elevator with square buttons! This thing is in near perfect condition! The COP is so clean and scratch-free. Aside from the cracked stop switch and 2nd-floor call button, the fixtures are holding up well! This is a base model US. No floor indicator, no chimes, no directional indicators. Just the COP. I don't mind though! All the lights work! I like the mix of the circle and square buttons. The motor sounds very similar to a Montgomery motor. Sweet find!

Fresh find! Awesome 1980s US elevator at Brambleton Corporate Center Roanoke VA
(10-26-2016) Totally unexpected. I was out running some errands with a friend and we drove by this building he used to work in. He told me they had an old elevator inside. We just had to stop and check it out. Unfortunately it was filmed on my Panasonic as I had not planned on filming today however this video still will show you this awesome elevator!!
