Bedford - Flooding of The River Ouse

This video and photos document how during winter or flash floods effects the water levels on the River Ouse, I have seen it over flow around 10 times in the space of 12 months in the past and it is happenning more frequently.
You see water flowing from the river into the boating lake then it flows off and joins the other river beyond that.
Flooding covers paths, over flows locks, brings trees down and debris along with it.
Even with all that people are amused by it, they play by it and take risks as you will see in my video, but water is dangerous and many forget that.
1997 had probably the highest level of flooding and even the local news were prepared for it but nothing happened.
This is in no way the same scale as flooding in Australia or Pakistan recently, but for us this is enough but some parts are effected more.
