La Mosquée Émir Abd El Kader (en arabe : مسجد الأمير عبد القادر) est une mosquée algérienne se trouvant à Constantine, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 15 000 personnes, et comportant deux minarets. La mosquée Emir Abdelkader, qui jouxte l'Institut des sciences islamiques inauguré en 1984, s'étend sur une surface de 11.000 m2. Elle peut contenir plus de 10.000 fidèles. Deux minarets de 120 mètres de haut et un dôme sculpté de 5 mètres de diamètre en font un «joyau architectural», selon les médias. Des centaines d'artistes, de sculpteurs, de calligraphes algériens et étrangers, ont participé à la décoration de cette mosquée.

The Emir Abdelkader Mosque, is an Algerian mosque located in Constantine , in the Emir Abdelkader district hence the name. Can accommodate up to 15,000 people, with two minarets of 107 meters each.
The idea of building a large mosque in Constantine dates back to 1968, its realization was to be in the district Emir Abdelkader hence the name of the current mosque.
Colonel Benahmed Mohamed Abdelghani member of the Council of the Revolution and Commander of the 5th Military Region after various contacts with the promoters, submitted the project to the Council of the Revolution. President Houari Boumediène was interested in the project and under his impetus of simple mosque, the project will turn into Islamic University and Emir Abdelkader Mosque. The first Algerian modern Islamic university was born

The women's prayer room adjoins the main hall. It is arranged all around a central patio. The two prayer rooms can accommodate up to 15,000 worshipers.

In the same set, on the other facade, is the Islamic University. This university consists of three levels. On the ground floor the central space is occupied by the large conference room above which is the courtyard with its large pool, surrounded by large corridors in the form of glazed arcades.

The city’s most prominent monument – you will see its twin 107m high minarets as you approach the centre – is the Mosque of Emir Abdelkader. The project started in 1968 as a desire to build a mosque capable of accommodating 10,000 in its prayer hall, but when the then president Houari Boumediène became involved, it grew into the current, ambitious building: one of the world’s largest mosques and Algeria’s first modern Islamic university.

Önden bir üniversite ve arkadan bir cami.Daha ünlü ve yaygın bir ismi daha var; Emir Abdelkader Üniversitesi / veya İslam Üniversitesi veya Emir Abdelkader Camii. Minarelerin yüksekliği 107 metre, caminin inşaat projesi 1968'de başlanmış, bugün 10 000 kişilik kapasiteye sahip.
Mağrip İslami mimari tarzında güzel ve lüks bir bina. Cezayir'deki en güzel üniversite binası sayılabilir. Üniversite ve cami mermer ve granit ile inşa edildi. Cami ya da kampüs olarak adlandırılabilecek çok büyük bir avluya sahipler.

L'idée de construire une grande mosquée à Constantine remonte à 1968, sa réalisation devait se faire dans le quartier « Émir Abdelkader » d'où l'appellation de l'actuelle mosquée.
Le Colonel Benahmed Mohamed Abdelghani membre du Conseil de la Révolution et Commandant la 5ème Région militaire après différents contacts avec les promoteurs, le soumit le projet au Conseil de la Révolution. Le président Houari Boumediène s'intéressa au projet et sous son impulsion de simple mosquée, le projet se transformera en « Université Islamique et mosquée Émir Abdelkader ».
