One More Sleep | Gala Theatre Durham
A winter wonderland. A little girl who has never seen snow. An enchanting adventure, where dreams comes true on the most magical night of the year.
The Gala Theatre's One More Sleep tells the story of Roo, a little girl who, with her toy lamb, Mr Pickle, finds herself far from on a snowy Christmas Eve - but will she make it back in time for Christmas?
Actors Charlotte Ryder and Stanley Hodgson share their joy at being in the Christmas 2019 show, and their favourite parts of the interactive, sing-a-long treat for under 5s.

RSC Hamlet Trailer - screening at the Gala Theatre, Durham on 8 June
Screening live from Stratford-upon-Avon, don't miss RSC's Hamlet at Gala on Wednesday 8 June.
Hamlet has the world at his feet. Young, wealthy and living a hedonistic life studying abroad. Then word reaches him that his father is dead.
Returning home he finds his world is utterly changed, his certainties smashed and his home a foreign land. Struggling to understand his place in a new world order he faces a stark choice. Submit, or rage against the injustice of his new reality.
Simon Godwin (The Two Gentlemen of Verona 2014) directs Paapa Essiedu as Hamlet in Shakespeare’s searing tragedy. As relevant today as when it was written, Hamlet confronts each of us with the mirror of our own mortality in an imperfect world.
In this critically-acclaimed theatrical journey through the Seven Kingdoms, direct from sold out shows in London’s West End, avid ‘Thrones’ fan Graeme just wants to recreate his favourite fantasy saga on stage. Graeme Of Thrones is an original and un-authorised parody on the international phenomenon that is Game Of Thrones. A treat for fans and an introduction for the unenlightened. See it at Gala in Durham City on Monday 13 June before the inevitable lawsuit.
Tickets priced £15 (£13 concession, £10 Gala Friends) are available via galadurham.co.uk, by calling the Box Office on 03000 266 600 or in person at the venue.
