INCREDIBLE FROZEN RIVER AND LAKE - Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland
Some footage of the sub zero winter weather that has been hitting Northern Ireland (as well as most of Northern Europe) over the past 3 weeks. This video was shot on January 9th 2010 in the city of Derry/Londonderry, and documents the frozen River Foyle, the first time in nearly fifty years that the river has frozen! There is also a short piece of footage of a large lake (Enagh Lough) just outside the city which was covered by at least 4 inches of ice and was strong enough to walk on. I hasten to add I didn't try it myself!

Loughs Agency Polluting Derry City
Alarming footage of the Loughs Agency monitoring vessel, the MMV Ostrea polluting Derry City and the River Foyle with exhaust smoke and unburned fuel oil. Despite denials from the Loughs Agency management that there is nothing wrong with the vessels engines, this footage clearly states otherwise. It is suspected that the emission levels are illegal under MARPOL regulation 73/78
Monster in Lough Foyle!
Was shooting in Lough Foyle when this thing went past us. It was massive. Really don't know what it was. There have been whales in the Lough before so maybe that's what it was but Matthew was closer than we were and says it was no whale. Looks like we have our own Loch Ness Monster?! Any experts out there ? We're still filming so if it shows up again we'll do our best to get a better shot of it. Our film's called 'Fishing with David Lynch', which was why I was wearing the suit (a David Lynch costume.)
LOUGH ESKE CASTLE, CO, DONEGAL, IRELAND. LIFE AFTERLIFE TV PRODUCTIONS. EXPLORING CASTLE AND GROUNDS
This location has been the most stunning location i have filmed so far and it was great to walk the grounds and look inside this beautiful place that only 15 years ago was a castle ruin in a field. The Castle was once owned by the O Donnell family and date back to the 14 century and had been taken over by the British. In the early 1900s the Castle suffered a major fire and it was in a ruined state until 15 years ago when it was bought and restored to be used as a hotel. Being a ruin for so many years meant that none of the original featured remained inside the castle but it was restored in such a way as to bring back the character to the building and this was done beautifully. The grounds also had major work carried out creating gardens and erecting bronze sculptures which are dotted around the grounds.
