Enderby Cliffs October 2013
Brian and I hiking Enderby Cliffs was such an accomplishment. Myself, I was so proud how I pushed myself to make it to the top; which was well worth it. Then the two hour, running downhill trek back was painful. It was getting dark and the forest part was getting scary but we did it. When we go thru Enderby now I can't help but look up and say I conquered that!

North Okanagan Landscape: 3.5 hours in 90 seconds
A 3.5 hour sequence in the North Okanagan Valley beginning at about 1:45 PM on Monday November 4, 2013 -- compressed into 90 seconds. The Enderby Cliffs are a striking feature of the North Okanagan Valley, with this being only one of many great angles of view. Mary Isabel Woollam (1911 - 2012) worked tirelessly for many years to have the cliffs protected within a provincial park. The Enderby Cliffs were designated as a Protected Area in 2001. Then in March 2006 legislation established the Enderby Cliffs as a Class A provincial park, the highest level of protection offered to Crown land in British Columbia. The cliffs are located across the Shuswap River from Enderby in British Columbia's southern interior, in western Canada.
Enderby BC Canada Downtown 002
Enderby BC Canada is a North Okanagan town between Vernon BC and Salmon Arm BC. As we arrive at the main instersection of Highway 97A and Mabel Lake Road the video takes us on a right turn through Downtown Enderby BC. This is a heritage style area with lots of charm. The video shows a pan of the downtown shops and restaurants, Okanagan Regional Library. If you continue on down this 'Main Street' of the town and cross the Shuswap River, you are only 15 minutes away from Mabel Lake and the Mabel Lake Resort with Air Park and lakefront camping in the North Okanagan Valley.

Enderby BC Canada From Spallumcheen and Highway 97A
Driving along Highway 97A through the District of Spallumcheen BC, and entering Enderby BC Canada in the North Okanagan Valley. Enderby is 30 minutes north of Vernon British Columbia. We can see Lulu's Bar and Grill, and the Enderby Inn before the turn to Downtown Enderby. If you continue straight past the Enderby Inn this route would then take you to the Shuswap Region, Mara, Sicamous, and Salmon Arm BC. Enderby BC is a small town along the Shuswap River nestled in a very scenic and temperate mix of the Okanagan and the Shuswap climates.

Located east of Chilliwack, Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is a scenic day-use area. The landscape encompassing the park is characterized by low elevation valleys and lush, rounded mountains. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and viewing the spectacular Bridal Veil Falls, which tumbles 60 metres over a smooth rock face, creating a “veil-like” effect.
Park Size: 32 hectares
The park is open from 8:00 am to dusk.
Cultural Heritage: Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is located at the site of the ancient village of Popkum which has settlement records dating back to the 1700s. Popkum is a First Nations word meaning “puff ball”, a plant which grows in the area in abundance.
