Peninsula Hot Springs thermal Pools and day Spa Mornington Peninsula Victoria
Peninsula Hot Springs are a unique and invigorating experience in the rolling hills of the Mornington Peninsula.
They source the mineral water from natural hot springs 637m below ground. This water comes out at a warm 50°C and then is cooled down to various temperatures between 37°C and 43°C so everyone can find a pool at a temperature that is comfortable for them.
The thermal waters in these pools are also full of minerals and are considered to have healing qualities for the body.
There are over 20 different styles of bathes and pools to choose from and you can even indulge in their private bathing area. We did that with a bottle of bubbly.
They even have a Hamam, Turkish Steam Room, where you can purchase the salts from reception and do the scrub amongst friends, or organise a group and have a therapist teach you what to do.
The bathes make the most of their natural surroundings so you don't feel like you are just walking in to public swimming pools, which a lot of thermal pools can feel like. They also empty the pools at the end of each day and fill them fresh each morning.
The ultimate indulgence though is visiting their Spa Dreaming Centre for any one of their signature treatments. I was taken u to their Arabian marquee (incredible by the way!) and enjoyed a massage, scrub and facial. This is seriously the most amazing day spa experience I have ever had.
They have so many packages to choose from and can organise a bathe and dine package and they can even organise accommodation at a close by hotel for you.

Daytripping to Mornington Pier - Mornington Peninsula
Filmed on Nov 27 2019.
Please enjoy this beautiful piece I put together of the beautiful new pier at Mornington, storms had torn apart previous attempts at a pier & a safe marina.
Hopefully our pier at Frankston is next on the repair list as part of it tore off & beached itself in another storm we had this year. I’m still hoping Frankston gets a marina too.
So this adventure happened after Hubby spur of the moment told me to be ready in 20 minutes when he got home, we were heading to Mornington Pier for a walk & talk about some future plans we are about to take on.
This town holds a special place in my heart as it’s where we got married 21 years ago. The church is no longer used as a church, but it was & was 120 years old when we got married in it.
The Royal Hotel is only meters from where we married, so it was nice to have dinner there to top off this stunning spring afternoon.
Life is good.
I hope you like what I’ve thrown together using my iPhone 7plus & iMovie for editing.
My windows 95 skills were not needed.
Enjoy! ❤️✌????

Get off the main road and see the true beauty of the Mornington Peninsula on its back beaches - we'll take you on an unforgettable adventure through Sorrento, Blairgowrie, Cape Shanck and Point Nepean National Park - coastlines, beaches, rock pools and blowholes that will steal your breath away. Quite literally.
The most beautiful Mornington Peninsula attractions are all free-of-charge and really are Mother Nature's finest works of art. We head down every summer and stumble upon a new natural marvel each time, which is why we can never get enough of its beauty. Cape Schank Walking Trails Mornington Peninsula Victoria
Cape Schanck is a large national park with numerous walks around it spectacular cliffs and down to the bay and beaches.
There are a few main walks around Cape Schanck that really capture the essence of what this place is all about.
We did the Cape Walk down the wooden boardwalk to Devils Desk and Pulpit Rock. The beauty of these leaves you feeling like you have just walked on to the set of a Hollywood movie with its perfectly unspoilt magnificence.
There is another spectacular walk to Bushrangers Bay where you could be lucky enough to be the only people there. Take a picnic and stay and enjoy for a few hours because it is a long walk there and back.
Or on a hot day you can walk down the boardwalk to the pristine rock pools where the water is crystal clear and you feel like the first person to have ever been here.
Apart from the crashing waves, this place surrounds you with tranquility and the ultimate unspoilt beauty of nature. There are not many places left today that offer this kind of breathtaking beauty that leaves you speechless in awe of the colours and scenery surrounding you.

ʚThere are so many kinds of baths to choose from
ʚ It's very comforting and relaxing, helps to reduce stress
ʚ Water is ideally hot
ʚ Surroundings are extremely clean
ʚ It's very reasonably priced, especially if you arrive there before 9am
ɞ It can be extremely cold if the wind blowing strongly at you
I had an amazing time soaking myself in the hot water even though it was cold that day. My muscles felt so relax after and I felt calm and happy. My favourite odd bit would be the cold plunge, I literally suffered from the cold water for like 2 - 3 seconds but surprisingly after that I felt extremely refreshed, it felt like I had a really good sleep and just woke up. So feel free to dip into it if you are up for it :D
Tip: Remember to bring your thongs to walk in, towel to wipe yourself after and also some water to drink to hydrate yourself again (: xx
