Ene'io Botanical Garden in Neiafu, Tonga
The ‘Ene’io Botanical Garden (EBG) is a botanical garden in Tonga and is the first of its kind there. It has the largest and most varied plant collection in the Kingdom of Tonga.
The botanical garden is located in Vava'u, 10 minutes from Neiafu. It consists of 22 acres of privately owned gardens and was developed in 1972 by Haniteli Fa’anunu. As an agronomist with 38 years of agricultural experience, Fa’anunu offers visitors a personalized tour through gardens containing over 100 plant families and 500 plant species, both native and exotic. The garden also has ocean access at ‘Ene’io Beach, a private beach with a camping area.

‘Ene’io Beach is excellent for snorkeling and swimming with the largest man-made ocean swimming pool in Vava’u.
‘Ene’io Beachside Restaurant & Bar offers some of the best fish and chips and delicious local cuisine. We open every day for lunch, and group dinners.
Three tour packages are available from Monday to Saturday, and bookings are necessary. Our Friday Tongan Feast & Cultural Dancing is an excellent option -enjoy a dazzling display of local dances and roast suckling pig .Our popular Sunday Feast is a great option if you’d like to enjoy real Tongan cuisine as well as locally processed products including taro chips, papaya chutneys and much more. 10. Lifuka
