This is my view from on top of a ridge in Rukungiri, Uganda. So beautiful! We regularly run here. It is about a 4 mile loop to the startof the ridge and 7 miles if you go to the end of the ridge. I zoom into Nyakibale hospital to give an idea of how far it is away.

Uganda: President toughens penalties against homosexual acts

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has signed into law a bill that toughens penalties for those who engage in homosexual acts. The new law also outlaws the promotion of homosexuality.

Museveni initialed the document in front of journalists Monday at the State House, the president's official residence.

Engaging in homosexual acts is already illegal in Uganda.
