Noboribetsu is full of demon statues, since it's known as Hell's Valley. This one is like the kind you see in Las Vegas—a statue that sort of talks and gives a five-minute performance.

In this video, I take you on a journey to Noboribetsu, a small town in Hokkaido famous for its natural hot springs! Come see the famed Jigokudani (Hell Valley), Lake Oyunuma and Enmado Temple. I also spent 3 hours in the onsen at Daiichi Takimotokan, which has a fantastic glass view of the valley. I highly recommend visiting Noboribetsu! The King of Hell judges the souls of every person who dies, before they can proceed to the afterlife.

わしは地獄の王、閻魔じゃあ～
地獄の恐ろしさを知らぬ人間どもよ
地獄に落ちたくなくば、行いを改め、善を積み、極楽浄土をめざすのじゃあ～
悪行を重ねる者どもは、この閻魔自ら地獄の道案内をしてくれようぞ・・・
Rough translation:
I am the King of Hell, Enma!
Humans who do not know the horrors of hell, listen well!
When the time comes and you will fall down to my reign, your past life will be judged. The good deeds that you accumulated will lead you to Paradise.
As for those who instead have accumulated evil deeds, I myself, Enma, will show them the road to hell...

Jigoku-Dani (Hell Valley) at Noboribetsu Hokkaido on Tuesday 8 July 2014. It's an explosion crater of Mount Kuttara. The valley of 450m in diameter and 11 ha in area had many spouts. The views of boiling and bubbling water make people image Hell where demons live.

This year, our summer Trip still in the spirit of Eid-Fitr, so we carried out a halal bi-halal while in vacation.
Halal-bihalal (mutual begging of pardon) gathering is special ritual of muslim Indonesian to restore harmonious relations between family, neighbour and friends.
