This was my first visit to Enniskillen Conservation Area. I enjoyed a peaceful winter hike. Enjoy.
An Early Evening Along Bowmanville Creek (Enniskillen Conservation Area - April 2017)
This video of Enniskillen Conservation Area was shot during an evening in mid-April. During this time, I was able to shoot some views of Bowmanville Creek that would have been obstructed much more during summer or fall. The improved views of the creek were due to a lack of foliage. The timing of my visit also allowed me to get some shots during sunset. While there is no substitute for a shot of an unimpeded sunset, the setting sun shining through the trees is the next best thing.
This video was shot north of Bowmanville, Ontario on Good Friday, 2017.

About Me
I am an advocate for communities. They are a mosaic of people living and working together to achieve their hopes and dreams. From the families in their homes, to the kids in the schools, to the business owners that provide goods and services that keep the community together; everyone is a part of a community.
As a supporter of communities, I enjoy getting out and discovering the nature of them, contributing to them, understanding their unique value and what makes them tick. My video series highlighting local businesses helps me get to know the neighbourhoods and understand them for my clients as an award winning Realtor.
When people approach me to help them find a home, I know that they’re looking for more than a building and a yard; they’re looking for a community that will suit their desired lifestyle and enable them to achieve their dreams. It’s a big responsibility that I enjoy working for every day.
I strive to understand the needs of my clients and build a relationship with them so that they know that I’m working in their interests. Whether buying or selling, my clients can have peace of mind that I am authentic, dedicated and am working to be their advocate and a Community Partner.
Why am I in Real Estate?
Although Real Estate is the area of business that I'm in, I really see my role as customer care and service. With a background in nuclear medicine, I found that helping people through big moments in their lives gave me a feeling of great personal satisfaction and fulfillment. While helping people in moments of medical need, you really get a chance to understand the significance of help and guidance in stressful, emotional times. Real Estate gives me the opportunity to continue to be an advocate, mentor and friend to people during significant moments in their lives.
Mission
Buying a home is not just the largest transaction people and families make; it's laying the groundwork for them to achieve the life and lifestyle they desire. Real Estate is not just about bricks and mortar; it's about hopes and dreams. I commit to making every effort to help my clients achieve their hopes and dreams through hard work, dedication and bringing value to every touch point with and for my clients.
Vision
My vision is of a strong, open Real Estate market that gives people and families not just a home; but the opportunity to attain the lifestyle they aspire to in the communities that they desire.
Values
My values are my commitment. They are the ethics and standards that I uphold in each interaction with my clients and the community. I believe in honesty, hard work, empathy and being authentic in all aspects of my life. I value my clients’ needs and hold them to my heart as I work for them as advocates for their investment.
Late Fall Scenes Along Bowmanville Creek (Enniskillen, ON - October 2015)
The scenes in this video were shot along a section of the Moorey's Mill Trail at Enniskillen Conservation Area, south of Enniskillen, Ontario (north of Bowmanville). There was a small amount of colour left in the leaves, during a late October afternoon walk. However, another main attraction at this conservation area is Bowmanville Creek, which served as a nice backdrop to the colourful leaves that were in the foreground. The late afternoon sun also provided ideal lighting for what was left of the foliage.
This video was shot during the final week of October, 2015.

Early Summer Scenes Along Bowmanville Creek (Enniskillen, ON - June 2015)
This video was shot along Bowmanville Creek at Enniskillen Conservation Area, just south of the village of Enniskillen, ON. Much of the conservation area consists of a cedar forest, including much of the area the creek runs through. However, there are many types of vegetation to see, besides the numerous cedars.
Dragonflies were among the insects that were easy to spot, especially along the creek. There are also some ponds near the south end of the conservation area, one of which birds can often be spotted at. Hilly terrain is another dominant landscape feature, as this area is located along the south slope of the Oak Ridges Moraine.
This video was shot in late June, 2015.

Bowmanville/Westside Marshes Conservation Area: A Brief Visit (March 2018)
Where can you find various bird species, including waterfowl, and experience an excellent view of urban Bowmanville, Ontario? The Bowmanville/Westside Marshes Conservation Area certainly comes to mind. This video was shot during a brief visit in late March 2018 (Easter Weekend). Many scenes were shot in the Westside Marsh, originally owned by St. Mary's Cement, which operates the plant located just west of the marsh.
While the nature trail offers a view of both marshes within the conservation area, there is also a spot that provides an excellent view of nearby downtown Bowmanville. The scenes containing both it's urban core and the busy CNR rail line were shot there. Just a few steps away from this particular spot, I was able to shoot the scenes featuring the red-winged blackbird. It could be said that the best of both the urban and natural worlds are within sight at the Bowmanville/Westside Marshes Conservation Area.

Stephen's Gulch Conservation Area (Bowmanville, ON - September 2015)
The Stephen's Mill Trail winds its way over rolling terrain, through a dense, mixed forest at Stephen's Gulch Conservation Area. This park, north of Bowmanville, contains more than just a large wooded area. It contains a large portion of the Soper Creek watershed, as well. One can view both Soper Creek and several of its tributaries. The sights and sounds of these streams only add to the other sights and sounds of nature one can encounter there, such as the chirping of birds or the rushing sound of a chipmunk running through the woods.
This video was shot in mid-September, 2015.

Don Valley salmon, Toronto ON
A short video of a couple of salmon swimming upstream in the Don Valley River, Fall 2017. In the Charles Sauriol Conservation Area, just down river of the Rainbow Bridge. Not much on the video, but on a good day you can see many large salmon thrash in the shallow rapids as they swim upstream, pool to pool. A great way to see wildlife in the heart of a busy city. The day after a good rainfall in the autumn is usually the best time to see them.
