Story of the Enoshima Love Bell - Fujisawa, Japan
In Enoshima Island has a Love Bell with a legend involving Benten and the dragon, couples ring the bell together and write their names on locks that they leave attached to the fence, similar to the wooden prayer plates (ema) left at shrines.
Enoshima Shrine - 江ノ島神社
The best place for hiking! It took me about an hour to hike around the whole island. There are a lot of shops and restaurants on the streets, so you probably don't need to prepare whole a lot. I bought a bottle of water and sweets when I got to the top of the mountain. You might need a bug spray during the summer. It's pretty much a forestland.
Little Story: Enoshima jinja consists of three shrines. The first shrine to greet visitors is Hetsunomiya that was established in 1206, reconstructed in 1675 and renovated in 1976. Hadaka Benten (naked Saraswati, goddess of music) is here. Walk 3 minutes deeper and you will reach the vivid red building of Nakatsunomiya founded in 853. A further 12-minute walk will lead to Okutsunomiya that used to be Saraswati shrine. The building was lost in 1841 and reconstructed on the following year (Resource:

A day trip to Kamakura | Hasedera Temple, The Great Buddha and Enoshima Island
Hello!
I am enjoying my year end holidays in Japan and I hope you are enjoying too!
So I went to Kamakura this Saturday which is a seaside city in south of Tokyo in Japan. It has many Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. It is popular for Great Buddha which is standing in open air since 1495, is 11.3 metres tall and weighs 121 tons.
To reach Kamakura, you can take a train to JR Kamakura station. The Hasedera temple and the Great Buddha are near to Hase station on Enoshima Dentetsu Line which you can directly board from Kamakura station. I and my friends craved Indian food so we went till the last station, Fukushima on the same line and then came back to Enoshima station to go to Enoshima island.
We did not plan anything in Enoshima island but accidentally came upon the illumination in Samuel Cocking Garden and Enoshima Sea Candle (Enoshima Lighthouse Observation). The illumination is till February 18,2018 so do visit if you can.
I hope you enjoyed the video and I will try to upload more videos of the places I visit.
Happy new year btw!
P.S : Sorry for the night time videos! My iPhone 6 takes crappy videos at night.
