Enoshima(Fujisawa City) is the sailing venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games!
It was the yachting venue for the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games.
After 56 years, it will be the sailing venue for the Olympics again!

ENOSHIMA Olympic Yacht Harbour, Fujisawa, Japan, were hosts for the Marina Del Rey Pacific and World Championships held from 11-24 October, 1985. Enoshima is a small island in a large bay some 35 miles south west of central Tokyo. Racing was held in open seas about two to three miles south of the island, mainly in prevailing offshore winds and with negligible current. The courses were Olympic triangle-sausage-triangle-beat, with approximately two mile first beats and broad 55 degree reaches. The dinghy park was, in fact, part of the yachting complex built for the 1964 Olympics and provided more than adequate facilities with launching off concrete hands into a sheltered marina. A total of 55 competiters attended, representing 13 countries of which the Australians and the host Japanese were the largest fleets. The regatta was also privileged to have Paul Elvstrom competing and the veteran Frenchman, Marcel Buffet.

BEST Getaway Spot from Tokyo (Enoshima)｜Day 103 - Kanagawa
Only a short train ride west of Kamakura, Enoshima (江の島) is a pleasantly touristy island just off coast but connected by bridge with the mainland. The island offers a variety of attractions, including a shrine, park, observation tower and caves. Views of Mount Fuji can be enjoyed on days with good visibility.
Enoshima is divided into a yacht harbor accessible to motorized traffic and a forested hill which can only be explored on foot (and paid escalators) and contains most of the sights. Several shrine buildings, collectively known as Enoshima Shrine, are found around the island and are dedicated to Benten, a popular goddess of good fortune, wealth, music and knowledge. Benten is believed to have created Enoshima before subduing a five headed dragon that had been terrorizing the area.
An interesting aquarium and some of the closest beaches to Tokyo are located on the mainland just off Enoshima. The beaches on either side of the island can become very crowded with sun bathers and swimmers during the summer holidays in July and August, while the long stretches of beach that continue to Chigasaki in the west and Kamakura in the east are popular surfing spots.

水温も暖かくて長居できます。サーフィン、ウインドサーフィン、セーリング、ヨット、パドルボード、海水浴場も全部楽しまめます。
片瀬東浜、片瀬西浜、鵠沼海岸、辻堂海浜公園などもありますがそれぞれ違う味が出てます！おすすめですね。
東京オリンピック2020（五輪）もあと少し！着々と盛り上がっているサーフィンあり、ウインドサーフィンり、SUPあり、セーリングあり、ヨットありの湘南・江の島を大公開！
2015年（平成27年）6月8日に国際オリンピック委員会理事会において、東京２０２０オリンピック競技大会のセーリング競技会場を江の島（湘南港）とする変更案が承認されました。
行われたセーリング ワールドカップも手応えを見せている。
「江の島とセーリング」：
1964年に開催された東京大会で、江の島はヨット競技の会場となりました。それ以来、国内有数の競技会場として数多くの選手を育んできました。１９６４年当時は「ヨット」と呼ばれていましたが、２０００年のシドニー大会から「セーリング」という名称に変更されました。

Enoshima Island(Fujisawa-city) in the neighboring city where I live is the venue for the Tokyo Olympic 2020 sailing competition.
There is Enoshima Shrine in Enoshima Island.
One of the three Bentens in Japan, the guardian goddess of this area and the goddess of love, art and music are enshrined.
Myoon Benten (naked body) is about six hundred years old, hold a Biaw (Japanese lute) wooden statue.
I often worship there.
This melody was given at that time.
If you have a chance, I recommend that you visit once.
You will receive good luck for music from this goddess.
