New Zealand Hit by a powerful 7.8 magnitude Earthquake Today. Here're Some Incredible Footage. Listen the Chilling Sound of Tsunami Warning. But Please Pardon the Language in some Video
What happened in New Zealand?
A powerful earthquake and series of aftershocks shook New Zealand early on Monday, killing at least two people and prompting a tsunami warning that sent thousands fleeing to higher ground.
Emergency response teams were dispatched by helicopter to the region at the epicenter of the 7.8 magnitude quake, some 91 km (57 miles) north-northeast of Christchurch in the South Island, amid reports of injuries and collapsed buildings.
Prime Minister John Key told a dawn news conference in the capital of Wellington, where the quake was also felt strongly, that two people had been killed. Police said one of the victims was found in a house in the coastal tourist town of Kaikoura.

11 Port Hills Summit Road on a Boom Mustang
Located between Christchurch and Lyttelton Harbour the Port Hills are the eroded remnants of the northern rim of the Lyttelton volcano, and run from Godley Head at the entrance to Lyttelton Harbour, round to Gebbies Pass at the harbour’s head.
The Summit Road, which follows the crest of the extinct volcano from Evans Pass to Gebbies Pass, was built during the 1930s on the initiative of Mr Harry Ell. Always interested in conservation and recreation, Ell’s greatest achievement was being a huge part of the Scenery Preservation Bill that was passed in government in 1903. In the face of an expanding settlement, Ell wanted Christchurch to keep its scenic beauty – especially the Port Hills. Ell had visions of walkers and travellers enjoying a network of scenic reserves along the hills connected by a road from Godley Head, right through to Akaroa.
The epicentre of the 2011 Christchurch Earthquake was at the Port Hills, so the area suffered substantial damage. Over 700 properties were eventually red-zoned for demolition or removal. The Summit Road was affected by huge rock falls, and the eastern section from Rāpaki to Godley Head was opened to cyclists and walkers only in 2015. While it is not for the faint of heart, vehicles can still enjoy the western route from Dyers Pass to Gebbies Pass.
The video starts from the Gebbies Pass end of Summit Road, and it feels like a ride to the sky. On this particular day the low cloud was billowing over from the Lyttelton Harbour to the City, adding to the already dramatic nature of this route.

Swarm 'could trigger Wellington fault'
Wellington mayor Celia Wade-Brown gives a rundown on the latest quake information.
Seismologists say the weekend's swarm of earthquakes could be on a new fault they have not mapped before, and could possibly trigger movement on the feared Wellington fault.
The news comes as Wellington wakes from another rocky night, which included a 4.9-magnitude quake in the early hours. Through the night, a swarm of quakes occurred which were centred off Seddon in the upper South Island -
the biggest being was a 4.9 quake at 1.31am at a depth of 25km. All other quakes since midnight were 3.8 or lower.
GNS scientists and teams from the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research have been working to establish which fault line was the catalyst for the series of shakes, including the magnitude 6.5 quake on Sunday evening.
Seismologist John Ristau said the earthquakes were lying in an area of Cook Strait between the Vernon fault and Needles fault.
There are a number of active faults in the area. It's an issue because they are offshore so it's difficult to get the most accurate location we can.
A third fault to the left of Needles, called the London Hill fault, was also a possible location if it was found to extend offshore.
The other possibility is it is either on an unmapped fault or something brand new.
Pinning down the relevant fault could take a couple of days, and Niwa was expected to map between the Vernon and Needles faults later this week.
The nearby Wellington fault - capable of magnitude 8 or larger earthquakes and running through Wellington and the Hutt Valley - was not connected, but could have been affected by the ongoing activity in the region.
It's not the same one, but when you get a large earthquake it can increase or decrease stress on nearby faults. They all interact.
The possibility of the current swarm setting off a larger earthquake along the Wellington fault could not be discounted, Dr Ristau said. We don't know for sure but we can't entirely rule out the possibility.
While it usually took earthquakes larger than magnitude 7.5 to set off tsunamis on their own, smaller ones could cause underwater landslides, Dr Ristau said.
Undersea landslides caused by much smaller earthquakes can trigger tsunamis. That's a distinct possibility.
If one did trigger a landslide it would be difficult to monitor that as it's underwater and we would not know about it.
Niwa marine geologist Scott Nodder said most of the quakes, including the largest on Sunday evening, were in an area on which they had little data.
The earthquakes are away from the Needles fault, and nearby Booboo fault. Looking at the data it seems like it could be a new one to me.
There were numerous active faults in the Cook Strait area, and Niwa had mapped 100 per cent of the canyons in Cook Strait but work was continuing with other parts.
Dr Ristau said that Christchurch, unlike Wellington, was built on soft sediment with a shallow water table which contributed to liquefaction in the February quake.
In addition, the February 2011 earthquake was very shallow and close to Christchurch, and much of the energy released was directed straight towards the city, he said.
Christchurch Earthquakes Predicted on Youtube by Biblical Prophet
Isaac Newton Discovered that Ancient Hebrew Architecture Encodes Sacred Mathematical Timelines, like the Egyptian Pyramids. In 1737 Isaac Newton published Dissertation upon the Sacred Cubit of the Jews. He discovered the ancient Jewish cubit measuring system was used to build the Temple of Solomon and also the Great Pyramids of Giza. The Cubit has an exact relationship to the Earth's circumference and to sacred geometry. Newton translated the Bible from its original Aramaic, and believed that the Hebrews before the flood understood the atomic structure of matter. Newton found this while researching his Theory of Gravity and the 'Great Year' 25,800 year time cycle. Learn More The Hebrew Earth Grid is called RESHEL. It is a star tetrahedron or 3-D Star of David inside a sphere. Learn More Its meaning is written in the Torah: Peter 2:4-8, Ephesians 2:19-22, and Psalms 118:19-28. The Temple of Solomon was built in 960 BCE. The Ark of the Covenant was located in its sacred altar area. Isaac Newton believed that the temple was designed by King Solomon with privileged eyes and divine guidance. Newton observed that the geometry of the temple encoded sacred dimensions and a chronology of Hebrew history.

7.0 Earthquake Strikes New Zealand
A strong magnitude 6.9 quake has struck off New Zealand's remote Kermadec Islands, the US Geological Survey says.
The USGS, downwardly revising its first reading, says the quake occurred 96 kilometres southeast of Raoul Island at around 7:20am local time on Tuesday.
The quake hit at a depth of 30 kilometres, revised from an initial depth of five kilometres.
There were no reports of any impact from the quake in Auckland or the capital, Wellington.
The largely uninhabited Kermadec Islands are located northeast of New Zealand's North Island.
The quake was followed two minutes later by an aftershock with a magnitude of 6.3, USGS said.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre says there is no widespread tsunami threat, based on historical earthquake and tsunami data.
However, it says earthquakes of this size sometimes generate local tsunamis that can be destructive along coasts located within a hundred kilometres of the earthquake epicentre.
New Zealand sits on the so-called Ring of Fire, the boundary of the Australian and Pacific tectonic plates, and experiences up to 15,000 tremors a year.

19. Map Earthquakes Accurately Before They Strike (Epicenter, Foci, Intensity & Strike Date)
David Berger shows methods that will be used to scientifically control destructive earthquakes before they can strike. One method is to cause smaller earthquakes to occur before Nature builds the looming destructive earthquake that will otherwise occur in the very near future.
Playlist:
High pressure injection, rapid removal of subsurface fluids, vibrator trucks and mobile massive pyramids are four methods of reducing impending destructive earthquakes from becoming so destructive.
The book by Ken Follet called the Hammer of Eden enlightens possible earthquake control in an ironic method by showing that seismic vibrator trucks might be able to cause earthquakes to occur if the Earth's subsurface structure that is under abnormal pressure is very close to the Earth's surface.
100% Accurate Earthquake Forecasts of the future will be from instrumental determination of the magnitudes of the earthquakes before they strike by making Piezoseismic Maps which are similar to Isoseismic Maps of today; except Piezoseismic Maps are incredibly accurate in determining seismic pressures within each Earthquake Cell.
Detection of earthquakes and the determination of their magnitudes, hypocenters, epicenters and detection of the direction of fault ruptures are detectable up to 1.5 days after they strike. Visual detection of epicenter and broadside of fault is easily seen using optics.
Piezoseismology detects the bending of the Earths crustal materials for days and weeks before a rupture or quake occurs and up to 1.5 days after the earthquake as the Earths subsurface materials settle back into a resting position.
Granite gives off detectable positive (+) signals and limestone gives off detectable negative (-) signals when pressure is applied to them.
People studying earthquakes have days and sometimes weeks to map any magnitude of earthquake before it strikes in order to determine ahead of time what its magnitude currently is, or what it will be after adding the latent energy of collapsing linked earthquake cells to its magnitude.
There is no better way to prepare for destructive earthquakes than detecting earthquakes days and weeks ahead of time; destructive earthquakes can't strike an area without it first being detected by a Piezoseismic System operating within its range.

I suspect that a Class Action Lawsuit of Wrongful Death (Homicide, the knowledge that one's actions are likely to result in death) and/or (Manslaughter, the knowledge that one's actions are likely to result in death), Personal Injuries, Negligence and Other Losses will be pending against the USGS, the DOI, the NEHRP, the NEPEC and some of their past/present employees if a major earthquake strikes in the USA and kills thousands to hundreds of thousands of people since I offered this technology to the USGS, and the USGS and the Department of the Interior turned it down in 1995 and at other dates since then, as well as the NEPEC in 2011.
Natural Earthquakes have the same detectable precursor signals that are detectable 24 hours a day while it's running through its well known 5-Day Piezo-seismic Earthquake Cycle.

AP cover from southern state hit by earthquake
(30 Jun 2010)
STORYLINE:
A strong 6.5-magnitude earthquake rattled the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca on Wednesday, and was felt at least as far away as Mexico City.
The US Geological Survey said the quake was centered in a sparsely populated, mountainous area of Oaxaca near the southern Pacific coast.
The Oaxaca state civil defence department also said it had not received any immediate reports of injuries or damage.
Fortunately this earthquake, in spite of the magnitude, is not showing any reports of damage or loss of human life nor any damage to the infrastructure in the coastal regions of the state, said Edgar Bautista, Chief of Seismic Response for Civil Protection in Oaxaca.
The US Geological Survey said the quake hit at 2.22 a.m. local time (0722 GMT). The quake was centered about 75 miles (120 kilometres) west-southwest of Oaxaca city, the state capital, and 220 miles (355 kilometres) south-southeast of Mexico City.
The quake also swayed buildings in Mexico City.
Mexico's National Seismological Service gave the magnitude as 6.4, and placed the epicentre closer to the coast, which is known for tourist towns like Puerto Escondido and Puerto Angel located further to the east.
The U.S. Geological Survey measured the quake at a magnitude-6.2 quake
The quake occurred at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 kilometres).
