Chozenji is one the main temple of Kofu city in the Yamanashi prefecture in Japan. It is where the mother of Takeda shingen is buried. In this cimetery-temple, there are 3 huge pagoda visible from the top of Kofu castle. A great place to visit!!

身延山久遠寺のさくら(山梨県) Sakura kuon-ji Temple in Yamanashi
身延山久遠寺のさくらはとても綺麗でした。
乾徳山恵林寺 山梨県甲州市塩山
Erin-ji is a temple at the Yamanashi Koshu Enzan Goyashiki.
It was built in 1330.
It is the temple designated as the important cultural property.
Shingen Takeda, the Warring States general, chose it as the family temple.
There is Shingen's grave.
There are a beautiful Japanese garden, and corridor in which sound will sound if you walk.
The Uguisu-bari corridor is an old security system.
The hallway floor planking was specially sprung to emit creaking noises when trodden on.

武田信玄の墓所、鶯張りの廊下などがある。
拝観料は大人300円(2014年現在) 宝物館は別料金
恵林寺三門
「安禅必ずしも山水を須いず、心頭を滅却すれば火も自ら涼し」快川紹喜が燃える三門の上で喝を発した事で有名。
再建された門にはこの言葉が書かれている。
武田不動尊
武田信玄の菩提寺である恵林寺明王殿には武田不動尊坐像及二童子像が安置されている。
伝承によると、信玄が剃髪した毛を漆に混ぜて、自ら坐像の胸部に塗りこめたといわれている。

This is part of a Series of Talks on Zen Brush and Tea Ceremony, where talks like this one will be open to the public, and we will also host private Tea Ceremony Sessions for VIPs. Regardless of the size of the audience, we will go deeply into ancient wisdom applied to modern life.
